Chris Conn-Clarke scored a stunning double as Altrincham came from behind to beat bottom side AFC Fylde 2-1.

The visitors had hopes of moving off the foot of the Vanarama National League table when Connor Barrett gave them the lead after 26 minutes, but Conn-Clarke had other ideas and equalised with a superb free-kick shortly before the hour mark.

Fylde responded immediately and almost retook the lead as Nick Haughton forced goalkeeper Ethan Ross into a point-blank save with a first-time shot.

At the other end Justin Amaluzor saw his shot come back off the foot of the post before Conn-Clarke rifled in a long-range effort in the 78th minute to complete the turnaround.

Armando Dobra scored the only goal of the game as National League leaders Chesterfield beat Hartlepool 1-0.

They took the lead just five minutes in when a clearance fell to Dobra on the edge of the box and the midfielder fired the ball home.

Emmanuel Dieseruvwe had a chance go wide for Pools, but the Spireites had opportunities to extend their lead in the second half with Jamie Grimes and James Berry going close.

Three points sees Chesterfield remain eight points clear at the summit, while Hartlepool drop into 15th.

Ebbsfleet rescued a point against promotion hopefuls Barnet to draw 1-1 in the Vanarama National League.

Both sides had chances in the first half as Zak Brunt rattled the crossbar and Dominic Poleon hit a post on the half-hour mark.

Nicke Kabamba fired the Bees ahead two minutes into the second half after smashing the ball into the bottom corner and they came close again minutes later when Harry Pritchard’s shot was blocked.

The Fleet equalised in the 80th minute as Dominic Samuel’s cross was turned in by a Barnet defender to earn a point.

Maidenhead extended their unbeaten National League run to seven games after beating struggling Kidderminster 1-0.

Reece Smith came close for Maidenhead but Christian Dibble saved before Harriers had a chance when Amari Morgan-Smith headed wide from Jack Lambert’s free-kick.

Casey Pettit broke the deadlock in the 67th minute, slotting the ball past Dibble to send the Magpies into the top half of the table while Kidderminster remain in the relegation zone.

Paul Osew swooped to hand Woking a 2-1 derby victory as they leapfrogged Surrey rivals Dorking in the Vanarama National League.

The visiting Cardinals went ahead 10 minutes before half-time when Tunji Akinola nodded home a pinpoint free-kick from Josh Casey at the back post.

Charlie Carter’s hard work helped the hosts equalise, keeping the ball alive and allowing James McShane a chance to send the sides in level at the interval.

After a brief delay for an injured assistant referee, Woking put together the winning move, Osew converting confidently after a Padraig Amond lay-off.

Akinola thought he had his second late on, but the officials waved away claims that the ball had crossed the line, the result remained to send Woking 17th and ahead of their opponents on goal difference.

Goals in each half from Kane Thompson-Sommers and Millenic Alli earned FC Halifax a 2-0 win at Gateshead and moved them a point behind their opponents.

The away side opened the scoring 10 minutes before the break when Thompson-Sommers fired in a superb curling effort.

Gateshead almost found an instant equaliser but Regan Booty’s first-time effort from inside the box was blocked on the line.

Halifax sealed all three points with 20 minutes to go as Alli collected the ball on the halfway line and danced his way into the area before slotting into the bottom-right corner.

Ashley Hemmings’ quickfire brace handed Kidderminster a vital win as they beat fellow strugglers Ebbsfleet 2-0.

Victory lifted the Harriers off the foot of the National League table, while Ebbsfleet remained stuck in the relegation zone.

Kidderminster settled the contest by scoring twice in first-half stoppage time.

Sammy Robinson played the ball through to Hemmings, who slotted the ball into the far corner for the opener.

Hemmings then added a second just two minutes later from a free-kick.

Olufela Olomola struck a late winner as high-flying Bromley edged a narrow 1-0 National League victory at home to Rochdale.

Devante Rodney came close on the half-hour mark for the Dale but goalkeeper Grant Smith was able to hold the ball and Deji Elerewe had a chance for the hosts, having his headed effort saved.

Rodney had chances early in the second half but Smith made two good saves before Ryan East blasted an effort wide, but Bromley found the breakthrough in the 80th minute as Olomola fired the ball into the top corner.

They nearly had a second when Louie Moulden saved from Michael Cheek and three points sees the Ravens sit eight points off league leaders Chesterfield.

Maidenhead cruised to a 4-1 win at Oxford City to extend their unbeaten run in the Vanarama National League to six games.

Sam Beckwith, Sam Barratt and Reece Smith scored between the 18th and 26th minutes as the Magpies took a firm grip on proceedings.

Barratt, back for a second spell at Maidenhead after returning on loan from Barnet, added a fourth on the hour mark with a superb shot from distance.

Latrell Humphrey-Ewers struck a consolation from the edge of the box as Oxford City remain in the relegation zone.

Tyrone Marsh bagged a brace to complete Boreham Wood’s comeback in 4-2 Vanarama National League win over Woking.

The Cards started as the better side, with Reece Grego-Cox converting from the penalty spot eight minutes in. After a long range shot, Rhys Browne soon doubled the away team’s advantage just minutes later.

Boreham Wood grabbed one back courtesy of Angelo Balanta in the 25th minute and Marsh then levelled the scoring after tapping in a free-kick.

Marsh then grabbed his second, converting the game’s second penalty to put the home side ahead. Tom Whelan then put the game to bed after drilling the ball into the back of the net in the 87th minute.

Bottom club Kidderminster battled back from behind to earn a 2-2 draw at Oxford City in the Vanarama National League.

The visitors, who went into the game without a win in their last six, fell behind when Andre Burley grabbed Oxford’s opener with 16 minutes gone.

Olly Henderson latched onto a through ball from Canice Carroll to make it 2-0 in the 37th minute but Ashley Hemmings reduced the deficit from the penalty spot before half-time.

Kidderminster drew level when Amari Morgan-Smith rattled a shot off the underside of the bar early in the second period, while Oxford pair Josh Parker and Sanderson missed late chances to win it for the hosts.

Ollie Banks netted a second-half double before National League leaders Chesterfield held off an Eastleigh fightback to secure a 3-2 win and extend their lead at the top to 11 points.

Will Grigg opened the scoring for Chesterfield after 53 minutes as he poked the ball in from a yard out and Banks doubled their advantage three minutes later by curling into the top corner.

Banks rounded off a smart counter attack to make it 3-0 and seemingly put the game to bed after 68 minutes.

But Eastleigh roared back as Paul McCallum headed home from close range after 75 minutes.

And the visitors were back in it when Scott Quigley fired into the bottom corner 10 minutes from time, but they were unable to force a leveller.

Altrincham recovered from back-to-back defeats with a 6-1 Vanarama National League thrashing of Solihull.

Alty started off the better side, with Marcus Dackers netting a debut goal 14 minutes in. Justin Amaluzor then doubled their lead by driving the ball home after a corner.

The home team’s domination continued as Chris Conn-Clarke tucked one away to make it three on the verge of half-time. Alex Newby then made it four for the Robins after finishing off some strong build-up play. Amaluzor then grabbed his brace, capping off an excellent team display with a fifth goal.

Kade Craig gave Solihull a late consolation in the 88th minute and Regan Linney then joined in with the fun, making it a sensational six for Alty.

Charlie Barker pounced deep into added time to earn Wealdstone a dramatic 3-2 win over north London neighbours Barnet in the National League.

The ailing Bees went into the game on the back of three straight losses but things looked positive when harry Pritchard gave them the lead with 13 minutes on the clock.

Jack Cook levelled for the Stones three minutes later but Nicke Kabamba put Barnet back in front and their lead held until the 52nd minute when captain Cook levelled again.

The two sides looked set to share the points until Barker struck in the eighth minute of stoppage time to send the home fans away happy.

Struggling Ebbsfleet ended a run of eight Vanarama National League games without a win in emphatic fashion as they thumped Oldham 4-1 at Boundary Park.

The in-form hosts went into the game on the back of two straight wins but were stunned after just nine minutes when Greg Cundle grabbed the opener.

Ebbsfleet keeper Mark Cousins produced a fine double save to deny James Norwood but could do nothing about the latter’s equaliser from the penalty spot in the 69th minute.

But the visitors came on strong in the dying stages with Dominic Poleon firing them back in front on 80 minutes before Nathan Odokonyero and Dominic Samuel added some gloss to the scoreline.
