Michael Doyle’s first game in charge of Woking ended in a goalless draw against Maidenhead at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.

Doyle, who played for Coventry and Sheffield United, was named as the National League side’s new manager earlier this week following the dismissal of Darren Sarll in November.

His debut match was one that lacked real quality with the best chance of the match arriving in the opening period when Sam Barratt’s free-kick for the home side could not be converted at the back post.

The point leaves Woking, with just one win in their last seven league matches, in 17th, just two points clear of danger. Maidenhead are 12th.

Solihull Moors ended their four-match losing run in the Vanarama National League by coming from behind to win 2-1 at Oxford City.

The match appeared to be heading for a draw with neither side able to seize control, only for City’s Zac McEachran to strike in the 59th minute.

The goal came after slick build-up play with McEachran and Josh Parker combining in a one-two that carved the visiting defence open.

But Solihull hit back in the 66th minute when Matty Warburton found the net from the edge of the area before Jack Stevens struck the winner with two minutes left.

Mitch Hancox netted an added-time equaliser as Hartlepool claimed a dramatic 4-4 comeback draw at Wealdstone in the National League.

Max Kretzschmar opened the scoring for Wealdstone after just four minutes before Sean Adarkwa doubled the advantage nine minutes later.

Adarkwa added his second of the afternoon after 28 minutes only for Callum Cooke and Joe Grey to provide the visitors hope with two quick goals on the stroke of half-time.

Adarkwa looked to have put the match out of reach when he completed his hat-trick after 76 minutes, but Josh Umerah pulled one back for Hartlepool before Hancox stole a point in stoppage time.

Kidderminster piled on the pressure in the closing moments and had the ball cleared off the line.

Goalkeeper Mark Cousins scored in the fourth minute of stoppage time to salvage a point for Ebbsfleet United at York in the National League.

The home side took the lead with just six minutes on the clock when Ebbsfleet failed to clear and the loose ball found Lenell John-Lewis who fired past Cousins.

Toby Edser came close to an equaliser for the visitors midway through the opening period, but his powerful shot went wide.

York looked to have done enough to claim their first win in a month and pull clear of the relegation zone, only for Cousins to score with a header from a corner deep into added time.

The point left Ebbsfleet in the relegation places, one point adrift of York who are 19th.

Fifth-placed Gateshead came from behind to take all three points in a 2-1 National League victory over Oldham at Boundary Park.

James Norwood rifled Oldham ahead on the half-hour mark, giving keeper Archie Mair little chance with his strike.

Halifax hit-back with two goals in four minutes to leave the visitors reeling when Aaron Cosgrave steered in a pinpoint cross before Jamie Stott was on target from the penalty spot.

But Rochdale had the final say through a superb effort from Jimmy Keohane, who showed skill and determination to equalise in the 68th minute.

Nicke Kabamba bagged a hat-trick as Barnet thrashed 10-man Boreham Wood 6-0 in the National League.

Kabamba put the Bees ahead in the 15th minute, slotting the ball past Nathan Ashmore in a one-on-one and turned provider in the 29th minute to set up Harry Pritchard, who found the net at the back post.

Kabamba earned his double in the 42nd minute, smashing the ball into the top corner and a miserable afternoon got worse for the Wood when Jack Payne was dismissed in the 49th minute.

Reece Hall-Johnson took advantage to make it four in the 53rd minute, tucking the ball home at the far post and Kabamba completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute from the penalty spot before Jordan Maguire-Drew extended the lead six minutes later on his debut.

Having come close just minutes beforehand, Inih Effiong gave the Daggers the lead in the 40th minute, pouncing on a rebound from Ryan Hill’s initial shot to fire home at the back post.

Fylde striker Luke Charman caused problems and had a good chance go over the bar just before half-time and the hosts found the equaliser in the 76th minute when Harry Phipps turned the ball into his own net.

A point lifts the Coasters off the bottom of the National League table, while Dagenham remain 18th.

The Ravens doubled the lead early in the 54th minute when Olufela Olomola latched onto a defensive error before setting up Michael Cheek to knock the ball into an empty net.

Southend were forced into a change just after the hour following an injury to goalkeeper David Martin, with defender Gus Scott-Morriss going between the posts, before Brooklyn Kabongolo headed in a late consolation.

Oldham moved within striking distance of the play-offs after a 3-2 win at Solihull, who suffered a fourth straight National League defeat.

The home side went in front in the 26th minute when Mark Beck knocked the ball in from close range following a corner.

On-loan forward Josh Stones, who only signed from Wigan on Friday, marked his debut with an equaliser for Oldham in the 63rd minute, with Nathan Sheron adding a swift second goal a minute later.

Sheron grabbed a fine second with eight minutes left before Josh Kelly scored a stoppage-time penalty for Moors, who sit fifth – with Oldham just four points behind in 10th.

The Daggers held them to a goalless first half but could not hold the line after the restart, with Adarkwa turning home Allarakhia’s cross following a corner.

That looked to be enough but Allarakhia went from provider to scorer in added time to make it safe, finishing well after a dribbling into position.
