Goals from Joe Nuttall and Alex Reid fired Oldham to a 2-0 home win over York in the National League.

They went ahead in only the eighth minute thanks to some fine work from Devarn Green.

He did superbly to pick out Nuttall just inside the box, with the forward spinning and finding the bottom corner with a cool finish.

Reid added a second late on when he held off a defender before turning and rifling home.

Corey Whitely’s second-half header gave Bromley a deserved 1-0 win at Dagenham in the National League.

The visitors almost took the lead after only four minutes when Besart Topalloj’s effort clipped a post.

But they broke the deadlock after an hour thanks to an immediate impact from substitute Jude Arthurs.

Three minutes after coming off the bench, Arthurs delivered a delightful cross for Whitely to head in the winner.

Nicke Kabamba continued his fine scoring form as Barnet preserved their 100 per cent home record in the National League this season with a 2-1 win over Aldershot.

The 30-year-old striker, who had a loan spell at Aldershot in 2018, converted his ninth goal of the campaign after Reece Hall-Johnson’s run and cross four minutes into the second half.

Barnet, beaten 4-2 at Rochdale on Saturday, had taken the lead a minute before half-time when defender Danny Collinge headed home.

Aldershot reduced the deficit just before the hour mark after Lorent Tolaj headed in from a corner but they slipped to a fourth defeat in five games on their travels.

Second-half goals from Jack Bridge and Wes Fonguck saw Southend ease to a 2-0 National League win over Maidenhead at Roots Hall.

The Shrimpers went close when Dan Mooney’s early effort was finger-tipped away by Craig Ross before the game was briefly held up after objects were thrown onto the pitch.

Southend continued to hold the upper hand after the interval with Oli Coker clipping the woodwork from a free-kick before Ross once again denied Mooney.

After Casey Pettit blazed Maidenhead’s best chance over the bar, Bridge opened the scoring from the penalty spot after 72 minutes and Fonguck made sure of the points in stoppage time.

Solihull Moors extended their unbeaten start to the season to 10 games with a 2-1 National League victory at home to AFC Fylde.

The home side drew level after 34 minutes when Kade Craig played a neat one-two with Matty Warburton before rifling a powerful shot into the top corner.

Moors went ahead on the stroke of half-time as Josh Kelly latched onto the ball on the edge of the box and drilled home.

Tyrese Sinclair was Dale’s danger man in the first half, firing over with two well-struck efforts, while Jesurun Uchegbulam brought a comfortable save from Nathan Ashmore.

Rochdale opened the scoring early in the second half when Cameron John’s shot was spilled by Ashmore and Kairo Mitchell fired in the loose ball.

Their joy was short-lived, however, as Boreham Wood levelled a minute later through Tyrone Marsh’s header – his second goal in as many games.

Chris Bush glanced a header wide and Cameron Coxe brought a fine fingertip save from Rochdale goalkeeper Louie Moulden as Boreham Wood finished strongly but the game ended all square.

Captain Greg Olley helped Gateshead maintain their fine start to the campaign with a 3-0 home win over Kidderminster in the Vanarama National League.

Olley, the club’s longest-serving player, teed up Marcus Dinanga to slot home for his seventh goal of the season in the sixth minute.

Ed Francis then set up Stephen Wearne following a ball over the top with only Christian Dibble to beat but the Harriers goalkeeper made a fine save.

Olley doubled Gateshead’s advantage after 20 minutes, lashing home from 25 yards from Francis’ pass.

Regan Booty notched his first goal for the club with a fine strike nine minutes after the break as Kidderminster’s winless run stretched to eight games.

Oxford City produced a fine late fightback to earn a 2-2 draw at Eastleigh in the National League.

Scott Quigley bagged a brace to put Eastleigh 2-0 up with 15 minutes left before Lewis Coyle reduced the arrears and Latrell Humphrey-Ewers struck an 88th-minute equaliser.

Eastleigh, thumped 6-0 by Gateshead in their previous home match, took the lead in the 16th minute when Quigley was able to run into the box before beating a defender and finding the bottom corner.

The home side’s George Langston cleared Josh Parker’s effort off the line before Quigley lobbed in a second after 75 minutes.

Coyle pulled a goal back three minutes later and Humphrey-Ewers fired in the rebound after his initial free-kick was blocked to help City extend their unbeaten run to seven games.

Solihull Moors extended their unbeaten start in the Vanarama National League after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Kidderminster at Aggborough.

Matty Warburton grabbed the only goal of the game in the 15th minute when he headed home from a cross by Jamey Osborne, but Moors were indebted to goalkeeper Tommy Simkin for preserving the three points.

Simkin saved superbly to deny both Jack Lambert and Gerry McDonagh from point-blank range, while Harriers came close again when Amari Morgan-Smith blazed his shot over the crossbar.

Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain saw the hosts’ last chance to claim a point tipped over the bar by Simkin to leave Kidderminster still hunting their first home win.

Nya Kirby dragged a shot narrowly wide for the hosts before Chris Haigh made a superb save to turn away a Josh Rees effort.

Kirby saw another shot blocked after the restart as the home side pushed for the breakthrough.

Ed Francis scored a late equaliser to earn Gateshead a 1-1 against Aldershot at the EBB Stadium.

Gateshead were unlucky not to open the scoring in the first half as Francis’ 25-yard free-kick was clawed away from the bottom corner by Jack Bycroft.

The Shots took the lead after 59 minutes when Josh Stokes capitalised from some good build-up play to fire in off the post.

The lead was cancelled out late on by Francis, who latched on to Aaron Jones’ miscued clearance.

Boreham Wood goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore saved a stoppage-time penalty in his side’s 1-0 win at Maidenhead.

Ashmore saved Charlee Adams’ spot-kick for Maidenhead in the sixth minute of time added on to clinch Boreham Wood’s second win of the season and their first on the road.

Tyrone Marsh had given the visitors a 52nd-minute lead, converting a penalty of his own after he had been fouled in the area.

Ashmore also denied Maidenhead midfielder Kane Ferdinand with a full-length first-half save.

Cameron Coxe went close to extending Boreham Wood’s lead when he fired into the side-netting from a tight angle in a game of few chances.
