Mike Fondop’s brace inspired Oldham to a 3-1 victory at Maidenhead.

Oldham got the breakthrough when Joe Garner headed in a long ball in the 15th minute.

Fondop doubled the visitors’ lead in the 58th minute and then grabbed his brace 30 minutes later, effectively killing the game off for the hosts.

Sam Beckwith delivered a late consolation for the hosts.

Ten-man Southend ended a run of three straight defeats with a vital point in a 0-0 draw at Oxford City to boost their survival hopes.

The Shrimpers saw Nathan Ralph dismissed 11 minutes from time for two bookings but held on and sit out of the relegation zone on goal difference – but have three games in hand on Ebbsfleet. City are seven points adrift of safety at the foot of the table.

City came closest to breaking the deadlock six minutes before the break but Collin Andeng-Ndi produced a superb save to turn away Aaron William-Bushell’s effort.

Josh Ashby then saw a shot for the hosts hit the crossbar with 64 minutes on the clock and another Andeng-Ndi save denied Andre Burley from close range.

The hosts could not make the extra man count after Ralph was shown his second yellow card.

Kidderminster failed to move out of the Vanarama National League relegation zone after a goalless draw at home to Dorking.

Both teams had chances, with Harriers having the better of the first half as Sam Bellis shot wide and Reiss McNally’s effort was deflected behind.

Dorking’s Josh Taylor drew a sharp save from Christian Dibble in the second half and George Francomb’s free-kick was headed wide by Jason Prior.

But Kidderminster could have won it late on as Gold Omotayo headed Ashley Hemmings’ cross wide and Shane Byrne’s stoppage-time effort was smothered by Dorking keeper Harrison Male.

Halifax made it three straight Vanarama National League wins after holding on to beat Woking 2-1 and close in on a play-off place.

Former Grimsby and Wrexham midfielder Luke Summerfield gave the Shaymen a first-half lead when scoring direct from a corner.

Kosovan midfielder Florent Hoti doubled Halifax’s lead in the 34th minute with a superb effort from outside the penalty area.

Woking hit back in the second half as Dennon Lewis cut inside and drilled a low finish into the bottom corner.

The visitors pressed for an equaliser and Scott Cuthbert headed narrowly over in stoppage time before Halifax’s Andrew Oluwabori was denied at the near post by Woking goalkeeper Alexis Andre.

Promotion-chasing Barnet had to work hard for an away win over Fylde, stepping up in the second half to seal a 4-2 win at Mill Farm.

The hosts took a ninth-minute lead when Nick Haughton converted from the penalty spot but Bees newcomer Gatlin O’Donkor made it two goals in two appearances to level the scores.

Harry Pritchard’s neat near-post finish turned things on their head before Naughton’s second of the day evened it up for Fylde at half-time.

With the points up for grabs the visitors’ quality shone through, Reece Hall-Johnson heading home a fine cross from Luke Freeman and Callum Stead punishing a poor goalkeeping error from Connor Barrett.

Michael Cheek grabbed a hat-trick as second-placed Bromley defeated National League leaders Chesterfield in added time to edge a thriller 4-3.

The top-of-the-table clash delivered bundles of entertainment, starting when the visitors netted through Will Grigg’s penalty.

Cheek’s eye for goal turned that deficit into a 2-1 lead as he produced a pair of close finishes, before a 35-yard thunderbolt from Ollie Banks fired up the Spireites.

Tom Naylor put them back in front with less than 20 minutes left but another clinical effort from Cheek levelled things up.

There were seven additional minutes on the clock when Sam Woods met Alex Kirk’s cross to snatch a dramatic win, denting Chesterfield’s pride but barely scraping the surface of their 20-point lead.

Tahvon Campbell scored a second-half winner as Solihull Moors kept up their National League play-off push by beating Rochdale 2-1.

Callum Maycock gave the visitors a ninth-minute lead from Jack Stevens’ cut-back but Cian Hayes equalised eight minutes later, stepping inside in from the right and firing into the far corner.

Tiernan Brooks saved well from Tyrese Shade and Campbell just before half-time to keep Dale on level terms but Campbell diverted Stevens’ shot in for a second goal six minutes after the restart.

Joe Sbarra had a goal disallowed and was denied by Brooks late on as Moors sought a third.

Luke Waterfall’s late finish completed Hartlepool’s comeback in their 3-1 victory over Boreham Wood.

Boreham Wood took an early lead through Kabongo Tshimanga with just a minute on the clock.

Hartlepool levelled thanks to Joe Grey netting his eighth goal of the season just before half time.

Top scorer Emmanuel Dieseruvwe put the hosts in front with his 17th goal of the season with six minutes remaining.

And Luke Waterfall put the result beyond doubt for the hosts, making it three in the 89th minute.

Bryant Bilongo scored on his debut for Ebbsfleet as they beat Eastleigh 3-0 to boost their National League survival chances.

Defender Bilongo, signed on loan from Middlesbrough earlier this month, headed home Ebbsfleet’s opener from a corner early in the second half.

Bilongo then set up Ebbsfleet’s second in the 53rd minute, bursting into the box and laying on a pass for Rakish Bingham, who duly converted.

Ebbsfleet wrapped up the points just after the hour-mark when Luke O’Neill’s header following a corner flew in off a post.

Victory lifted Ebbsfleet up two places from second bottom, but they remain in the relegation zone on goal difference, while Eastleigh’s winless league run was extended to nine matches.

Joe Garner grabbed a late winner as Oldham kept pushing towards a Vanarama National League play-off place with a 2-1 victory over Boreham Wood.

The 35-year-old headed home in the 81st minute on only his second appearance as the Latics ended a run of two games without a win.

The mid-table visitors arrived at Boundary Park on the back of two wins in a row and grabbed the lead when Mo Sagaf finished off a 29th-minute counter-attack.

But Oldham replied just past the hour mark when Devarn Green squared to Mike Fondop who fired home from just inside the box.

Tom Blair’s late goal gave Dorking a 1-0 win at York which lifts them out of the National League relegation zone.

Winger Blair cut inside and fired powerfully in off the crossbar with five minutes remaining for the only goal of the game at the LNER Community Stadium.

Prior to the breakthrough, substitute Will Davies had the best chance of the contest for the hosts, striking the post shortly after his introduction in the early stages of the second half.

Dorking’s sixth away win of the season moves them level with their opponents, three points clear of the bottom four.

AFC Fylde eased their Vanarama National League relegation worries by thrashing 10-man Aldershot 5-0 at the EBB Stadium.

Jon Ustabasi began the rout when he was quickest to follow up a corner on the half-hour mark and when Josh Kay fired the second for the visitors shortly after, Cian Harries complained to the referee about an alleged shove and was sent off.

Aldershot were rattled and they fell further behind when Nick Haughton was on target in the 38th minute.

There was no respite after the interval either as Fylde continued to press and were rewarded with Kay’s second and a late strike by Danny Ormerod.

Substitute Aaron Cosgrove struck deep into stoppage time as Halifax left it late to secure a 2-1 Vanarama National League victory over Maidenhead.

The home side were ahead within seven minutes of kick-off when January signing Adan George held off his man to fire firmly past goalkeeper Craig Ross, scoring his first goal for the club.

George might have doubled his tally with 20 minutes gone, but this time Ross was able to repel his attempt and he was equal to the task once again when Jack Jenkins took aim five minutes later.

The visitors got themselves back into it with 12 minutes remaining when Tobi Sho-Silva levelled, and Ross kept his side in it with a fine late save from Kane Thompson-Summers.

However, the keeper’s efforts were to count for nothing as Cosgrave won it in the seventh minute of added time.

Lewis Walker’s stoppage-time strike denied Hartlepool boss Kevin Phillips a third successive National League victory as Woking left it late to snatch a point from a 1-1 draw.

The visitors took a seventh-minute lead at the Laithwaite Community Stadium when Joe Grey stabbed David Ferguson’s driven cross past keeper Alexis Andre at the near post.

Tom Crawford thought he had doubled the lead but his 33rd-minute header was adjudged not to have crossed the line, and it took a vital save by Pool keeper Joel Dixon to deny Dennon Lewis an equaliser.

Neither side was able to find the required accuracy to affect the scoreline as the second half unfolded to leave the game in the melting pot as it entered its final quarter.

However, Walker ensured the spoils were shared when he levelled a minute into added time.

Max Wright scored at the end of both halves as Halifax ended a run of three successive National League defeats with a 3-1 win at Dorking.

The visitors needed just four minutes to get their noses in front when Jamie Cooke beat the offside trap and raced through on goal before squaring for Andrew Oluwabori to tap home.

They were pegged back with 24 minutes gone when Charlie Carter stabbed home to make it 1-1, but Wright restored their advantage from distance in added time at the end of the first half.

Town defender Jordan Keane denied Tom Blair with a goal-line clearance four minutes after the restart, and the Dorking forward whistled a free-kick wide as the home side pressed for an equaliser with time running down.

They finally gave themselves breathing space with eight minutes left on the clock when Wright rounded off a counter-attack to make it 3-1 from Cooke’s pass.
