Manny Duku’s second-half strike ensured relegation-threatened Wealdstone walked away with three much-needed points from a 2-1 National League victory at fellow strugglers Fylde.

Dillon De Silva handed the visitors an early lead when he curled Max Kretzschmar’s delivery into the bottom corner after eight minutes.

It remained the only goal until the 58th minute, when Nick Haughton levelled things up, as he latched onto a loose ball and tapped past Marcus Dewhurst.

It took just six minutes more for Duku to fire Wealdstone back in front and clinch victory, though his side might have wanted more from a handful of late chances.

Solihull Moors saw their Vanarama National League play-off push dented after being held to a 1-1 draw at relegation battlers Dorking.

Wanderers, who had lost three games in a row, started brightly as Jason Prior saw his effort from a corner saved by Moors keeper Nick Hayes.

Devante Rodney fired in Dale’s third goal before Mitchell got his second of the match after being played in by Cian Hayes.

Ten-man Gateshead’s National League play-off hopes were dealt a blow by a 4-2 defeat away at Ebbsfleet.

That came four minutes after defender Louis Storey, who is also interim assistant manager, was sent off for a bad challenge on Samuel.

Gateshead unexpectedly led at half-time through a double from Callum Whelan but Bingham levelled from the penalty spot following a handball in the 52nd minute and put Ebbsfleet ahead with a diving header 11 minutes later before completing his treble in injury time.

Play-off hopefuls Bromley were held to a 0-0 draw by relegation-fighting Kidderminster at Hayes Lane.

Bromley thought they had opened the scoring on the half-hour mark when the ball was bundled home following a scrap inside the area but the linesman’s offside flag cut celebrations short.

The home side continued to push for an opener in the second period and came closest through Michael Cheek’s 25-yard strike which sailed wide of the post.

Kidderminster wasted a glorious chance to claim the points when Sammy Robinson skied over from inside the box when it looked easier to score at the death.

Altrincham boosted their National League play-off hopes with a 1-0 win over 10-man Boreham Wood at Meadow Park.

Ethan Ross denied the hosts twice in quick succession almost immediately after kick-off, but there was little to separate the sides in a first half which saw Altrincham forward Justin Amaluzor rattle the crossbar.

The hosts were down to 10 men when Chris Bush was sent off for a heavy challenge on Justin Donawa in the 59th minute.

Lenell John-Lewis scored a late winner moments after stepping off the bench as York earned three important points in their fight against relegation with a 1-0 win over National League play-off hopefuls Aldershot.

Stuart O’Keefe went close to giving Aldershot the lead inside two minutes but his volley from the edge of the area was tipped over by home goalkeeper Rory Watson.

Billy Chadwick put the ball in the net for York in the 19th minute but the assistant referee flagged for offside, and although both sides created further first-half chances, it was goalless at the break.

Ryan Fallowfield had a good chance to open the scoring just before the 70-minute mark but his header was kept out by Shots keeper Jordi van Stappershoef.

John-Lewis then came on in the 89th minute and made an immediate impact, heading in at the back post to secure York’s first win under boss Adam Hinshelwood.

Dagenham picked up their first win in three matches with a 4-1 victory over Maidenhead in the Vanarama National League.

The Daggers doubled their advantage just four minutes later and Rees turned from creator to finisher when he slotted into the bottom corner.

Maidenhead came close to a goal of their own when Casey Pettit smashed an effort off the crossbar just three minutes after the break.

The visitors found a way back into the contest when Tristan Abrahams cut in from the right and smashed in via the post in the 66th minute but Ryan Hill’s 84th-minute penalty and Lewis Page’s last-minute effort sealed a convincing  home win.

Barnet were beaten at Woking to leave Chesterfield on the brink of the National League title.

A scoreless and largely chanceless first half burst briefly into life seven minutes before the break, Barnet defender Jerome Okimo’s long-range volley tipped to safety by Will Jaaskelainen.

Woking’s Alfie Pavey went close early in the second half from Kevin Berkoe’s cross and Berkoe, on his home debut, soon made the telling impact after Pavey’s initial effort was saved.

Pavey headed over as the pair linked up again before Barnet substitute Nicke Kabamba had a goal ruled out for offside.

The prolific Kabamba headed just wide in the fourth of six added minutes but defeat left Chesterfield, held at Oldham earlier in the day, 24 points clear with Barnet having 24 to play for.

Joe Quigley’s second-half penalty earned National League leaders Chesterfield a point as they fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Oldham.

Quigley converted his ninth league goal of the season from the spot as the Spireites edged closer to automatic promotion.

James Norwood’s penalty gave Oldham an early lead after Chesterfield’s on-loan goalkeeper Harry Tyrer had brought down Andrew Dallas.

The Latics doubled their lead midway through the first half when Dan Gardner ran on to Dallas’ pass to slot home but the visitors reduced the deficit three minutes later through Bailey Hobson before both sides hit the woodwork.

Oldham defender Nathan Sheron’s header – following a corner – struck the crossbar and Chesterfield midfielder Armando Dobra’s shot came back off a post.

Quigley levelled it up for the Spireites just after the hour mark, converting from the spot after Hobson had been upended in the area.

James Daly added the third early in the second half but Aldershot were left a player short for the final half-hour after Haji Mnoga was sent off following a clash with Dominic Poleon.

Ryan Glover settled any nerves with a fine strike in the 67th minute after good work by Daly.

Chesterfield moved 23 points clear at the top of the Vanarama National League with a comfortable 2-0 win against struggling Oxford City.

The visitors must have been fearing the worst when Will Grigg poked in the opening goal from close range after just 30 seconds.

But they had the chance to level from the penalty spot after 14 minutes, only for Josh Parker to see his spot-kick saved by Harry Tyrer.

Liam Mandeville saw a shot blocked on the line for the Spireites, while at the other end a loose pass from Tom Naylor sent Harvey Greenslade clear but Jamie Grimes made a superb last-ditch tackle.

Naylor scored Chesterfield’s second 10 minutes into the second half, slotting the ball under the goalkeeper, and Ash Palmer hit a post as they looked for a third.

Goals from Gus Scott-Morriss and Harry Cardwell gave Southend a 2-0 win over struggling Dorking Wanderers in the Vanarama National League.

The hosts took the lead after 27 minutes when Cardwell was fouled on the edge of the area by Jimmy Muitt, who was booked.
