Defending champions Surrey Kings kicked off their 2025 Dream11 Jamaica T10 campaign with a huge 67-run win over the United Stars on day one of the tournament at Sabina Park on Friday.
The Kings first posted a massive 141-3 from their 10 overs thanks to 62* off 29 balls from Jermaine Blackwood and contributions of 31 off 15 balls from Kennar Lewis and 18 off nine balls from Tevin Gilzene.
The Stars were then restricted to 74-4 from their 10 overs thanks to some excellent bowling from the Kings.
Damion Bryce finished 35* for the Stars against 2-6 off two overs from Kenroy Williams.
In the day’s other game, the Cornwall Warriors defeated the Surrey Royals by seven wickets.
Leroy Lugg hit 36 to help the Royals post 88-5 from their 10 overs batting first. Odel Samuels took 2-22 from his two overs.
The Warriors then needed only 9.1 overs to reach 91-3 thanks to a 31-ball 52 from Andre McCarthy.
