The Surrey Risers and Surrey Royals were the winners in Monday’s double-header in the Dream 11 Jamaica T10 at Sabina Park.
The Risers got the better of the Surrey Kings by seven wickets in the first game of the day.
The Kings were restricted to 83-7 from their 10 overs as Kenroy Williams (20), Jermaine Blackwood (19) and Shalome Parnell (11*) were the only batsmen to reach double-figures against 3-6 off two overs from Michael Clarke.
Oraine Williams then spearheaded the successful chase with 37* off 23 balls as the Risers reached 85.3 with one ball remaining in the ninth over.
Sadique Henry also chipped in with 15 while Jamie Hay finished 14* off just four balls.
In the day’s second game, the Surrey Royals got past the Middlesex Titans by seven wickets.
The Titans first posted 101-4 from their 10 overs thanks to a 29-ball 40 from West Indies Under-19 representative Adrian Weir including five fours and a pair of sixes.
The Royals made quick work of their target, however, thanks to some brilliant hitting from all-rounder Odean Smith.
Smith, batting at number four, made 42* off just 12 balls, with half of those balls going for six, to help the Royals reach 107-3 in just 7.2 overs.
Tian Jarrett took two of the wickets to fall while conceding 19 runs.
