Jamaican standouts Oneka Wilson, Jody-Ann Dixon, and Shantae Foreman delivered strong performances for Clemson University at the 2025 Duke Invitational held in Durham, North Carolina on Saturday.

Wilson, a junior at Clemson, dominated the women’s 100m hurdles, clocking 13.16 seconds (+1.0 m/s) to take the win ahead of Maya Rollins of the University of Virginia, who finished second in 13.45. Taleea Buxton of Syracuse University placed third in 13.49.

In the women’s 400m hurdles, Clemson senior Jody-Ann Dixon continued her impressive season with a personal best of 57.48 seconds to secure third place. The event was won by Aliya Garozzo of Duke University, who set a new meet and facility record of 55.77 seconds. Arianna Smith of Howard University was second in 57.14.

Meanwhile, in the women’s long jump, Clemson junior Shantae Foreman leapt to a season-best 6.04m to finish second. The event was won by unattached athlete Kayla Woods with a jump of 6.28m, while Chaunesse Barringer of Charlotte University was third with 6.01m.

The performances of Wilson, Dixon, and Foreman were among the highlights of the meet, reinforcing Clemson’s strength in the sprints, hurdles, and jumps, and showcasing the consistent impact of Jamaican athletes on the NCAA circuit.
