The St. Kitts and Nevis Athletics Association (SKN Athletics) has officially named a 22-member squad to represent the twin-island federation at the 52nd CARIFTA Games, scheduled for April 19–21, 2025, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
This year’s contingent—dubbed “Team Unstoppable SKN”—features a mix of seasoned junior athletes and exciting emerging talent, all of whom met the federation’s rigorous qualifying standards. The CARIFTA Games, long regarded as the premier junior track and field meet in the Caribbean, will once again serve as a stage for the region’s best young athletes to shine.
In announcing the team, SKN Athletics President Delwayne Delaney, a former CARIFTA medallist himself, praised the athletes’ discipline and dedication.
“Their selection is a testament to their hard work, resilience, and passion for the sport,” Delaney said.
“We encourage them to continue pushing their limits, knowing that the entire Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis stands behind them. We wish them great success as they represent our nation with pride.”
Team Unstoppable SKN has been undergoing intense training in preparation for the Games, guided by a committed group of coaches and support personnel. According to SKN Athletics, the athletes are not only physically prepared but mentally focused on making their mark in Trinidad.
The federation also extended gratitude to the parents, coaches, supporters, and sponsors who continue to invest in the development of youth athletics across the islands.
As the countdown to CARIFTA 52 continues, the call is out to fans, alumni, and well-wishers across the federation to show their full support for the team.
