With eyes set firmly on regional dominance, Trinidad and Tobago has named a formidable team for the 2025 Carifta Games, packed with explosive sprinters, soaring jumpers, gritty distance runners, and fearless field athletes.

The Twin Island Republic's team for the April 19-21 showpiece will be a vibrant embodiment of the red, white, and black, a nation’s pride carried on the shoulders of its most promising young stars.

Leading the charge in the Boys U-20 division are speedsters Dylan Woodruffe, Kadeem Chinapoo, and Hakeem Chinapoo, all primed to bring the heat in the 100m and 200m, as well as to power the 4x100m relay team. With Daeshaun Cole and Makaelan Woods adding depth to the 400m and 4x400m relay pool, the quarter-mile events are equally covered in firepower.

And don’t blink when the Girls U-20 step up. Sprint sensation Sanaa Frederick headlines the charge in the 100m and 200m, backed by her twin Sole Frederick and Natalya Lindo, all of whom double up in relay duties.

Names like Omare Thompson and Darius Harding will be ones to watch in the grueling 800m, 1500m, and 5000m events, along with Keeran Sriskandarajah and Isaiah Alder. On the girls’ side, Kayleigh Forde, Amaris Pope, and Aniqua Bailey promise poise and punch in the 800m, 1500m, and 3000m events.

Meanwhile, Trinidad and Tobago's reputation for field event excellence continues with an impressive arsenal, as Kristiano Perez and Joshua Gonzales in the triple jump, Jaheem Homer and Aaron Aparicio in the javelin, and Jaydon Nedd unleashing thunder in the discus. The girls are equally stacked, with Janae De Gannes anchoring the long jump lineup and Gianna Paul in both hurdles and jumps. Adrianna Quamina and Peyton Winter will lead the charge in the throws.
