Jamaica’s Giano Roberts and the Bahamas’ Charisma Taylor came away with wins in the respective sprint hurdles finals at the Gamecock Invitational in Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday.

Roberts, the 2023 NCAA Indoor champion while competing for Clemson, took top spot in the Men’s 110m hurdles in 13.69 ahead of South Carolina’s David Warmington (13.99) and SC State’s Bryce Wilson (14.24).

The Women’s 100m hurdles saw Olympic semi-finalist Charisma Taylor produce 12.89 to take the win over Jamaican Life University freshman Briana Campbell (13.17) and Hong Kong’s Lui Lai Yiu (13.38).

Campbell also ran 23.54 for third in the Women’s 200m behind South Carolina’s Jayla Jamison (23.14) and Karimah Davis (23.00).

Jamaican South Carolina sophomore Jasauna Dennis ran 45.94 to take the win in the Men’s 400m ahead of teammates Josiah Wrice (46.02) and Devan Crumpton (46.17).
