West Indies Women’s Head coach Shane Deitz chided his team for failing to execute efficiently on a consistent basis as he assessed their overall performance following a five-wicket loss in the final ODI match, which capped a 3-0 series win for India on Friday.

The result, which came on the heels of a 1-2 T20I series loss, meant Deitz’s side only won a single game across the entire tour.

President of the Spartan Cricket Club in Barbados, Andre Marshall, has sent out a plea to stalwarts of the institution to help bring it back to its glory days.

Synonymous with success in Barbados cricket, the club, founded in 1893, has produced the likes of Sir Clyde Walcott, Wes Hall, Suleiman Benn and Shamarh Brooks, all of whom have represented the West Indies at the highest level.

1996 Olympian Dr. Neil Gardner is the new president of The National Association of Jamaican Olympians (NAJO), formerly known as the Jamaica Olympian Association (JOA), after being elected at the association’s Annual General Assembly last week.
