The St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) has unveiled the slate of candidates for its upcoming elections, scheduled for Sunday, January 12, 2025, setting the stage for a heated contest for leadership roles. Incumbent President Atiba Harris is set to face a challenge from Jeffrey Hazel, a development that has captured the attention of football stakeholders across the federation.

The elections, which will be held during the 2025 SKNFA Extraordinary Congress at the NBGC Technical Centre in St. Peter’s, will also see intense battles for other top positions. Shawn White, the current First Vice President, is vying to retain his role but will be contested by Don Grant, while Second Vice President Cuthbert Caines faces a strong challenge from Aisha Duggins.

In addition to these high-profile races, the competition for Ordinary Member positions on the SKNFA Council promises to be equally engaging. Incumbents Javeim Blanchese, Sheila Patricia Claxton, Phill Cooper, and Alleyne Morris will each defend their spots against challengers Troy Hendrickson, Almon Crooke, Ronald Williams, and Juliana Sargeant, respectively.

The upcoming elections are poised to be a defining moment for the SKNFA as its members decide the team that will guide the development of football in St. Kitts and Nevis over the next term. The stakes are high, with the outcome set to shape the future of the sport at both grassroots and international levels.
