The fixtures for the third edition of BIM 10 Cricket have been revealed with the event to be hosted at the historic Windward Cricket Ground in St. Phillip from December 27th 2024 to January 12th 2025.
Barbados’ most anticipated limited over competition will see six franchise teams competing across 33 games for the right to be crowned BIM 10 Champions 2025.
This year’s teams include Warriors, Voyagers, Titans, Settlers, Pelicans and Guardians. A total of 10 matches will be played in the preliminary stage in a round robin format with each team playing the other twice.
Two matches will be played per day throughout the tournament with New Year’s Day (January 1, 2025) as the only rest day.
There will be no reserve days for the preliminary matches and any match not played due to rain will be deemed as a no-result.
The top four teams based on the points table will advance to the semi-finals with the first-place team battling against fourth and second taking on third to progress to the final.
The tournament commences with one of BIM10’s biggest rivalries, a mouth-watering rematch of last edition’s final, featuring two-time defending champions Settlers versus Voyagers on Friday December 27.
Settlers will begin their title defense in what promises to be an enthralling contest with the likes of former exciting West Indies batsman Dwayne Smith and promising Barbados batter Kevin Wickham gracing the field.
Among the plethora of blockbuster matchups scheduled in the group stage, fans can look forward to Pelicans vs Titans also on December 27, a match which will see 2016 ICC West Indies T-20 World Cup winner Carlos Brathwaite in action against USA vice-captain Aaron Jones.
