Just as they did in the 100m, St. Jago’s Rajuan Romelly and Jevaney Findlay took home two medals in the Class Three Boys 200m final on Saturday’s final day of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Championships at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Findlay took silver while Romelly took bronze in the 100m final won by JC’s Kai Kelly on Wednesday.

This time, however, Romelly sped to 22.57 to take gold ahead of Findley (23.03) while Kingston College’s Emmile Higgins took bronze in 23.31.

Petersfield’s Usain Bernard took gold in Class Two in 21.82 ahead of Holmwood Technical’s Jaydon Collins who added to his silver in the 100m with 21.99.

KC’s 400m champion Jason Pitter took bronze in 22.01.

William Knibb’s Sanjay Seymore took gold in Class One in 21.27 ahead of Calabar’s Junior Gallimore (21.42) and KC’s Markel Smith (21.54).

In the field, Calabar’s Tarique Daley established a new record to win gold in the Boys’ Open javelin.

Daley produced 65.11m to win ahead of Edwin Allen’s Addison James (65.08m) and Munro College’s Ojay Ellis (60.43m).

After 28 finals, KC’s lead has swelled back up to 23.5 points. They have 189.5 points compared to Calabar’s 166 and JC’s 122.
