Grand Slam Track™ has unveiled a stellar lineup of broadcast and in-stadium talent for its inaugural season, with Jamaicans Donald Smith and Trishana McGowan among the key voices set to enhance the spectator experience at the Kingston leg, scheduled for April 4-6 at the National Stadium.
"I am thrilled to unveil our first-class broadcast team for our inaugural season,” said Grand Slam Track™ Founder and Commissioner Michael Johnson.
"These are individuals I know from my work within the media industry, and feel very confident these are the best people out there to tell our stories to fans around the world. We can’t wait to finally get racing, and this lineup of talent ensures Grand Slam Track™ will bring audiences along with us for our festivals of speed," he added.
Leading the broadcast commentary team is former world record holder and Olympic silver medalist Steve Cram, whose decades of experience with the BBC make him one of the most respected voices in athletics coverage. He will be joined by analysts Carrie Tollefson and Anson Henry.

He will be joined by Carrie Tollefson, a five-time NCAA champion and 2004 Olympian in the 1500m, who has built a reputation as a trusted voice in distance running commentary, having covered major marathons and track events across multiple networks, while Anson Henry, a former Canadian Olympic sprinter, will also bring deep technical knowledge of sprinting mechanics and race strategy. His expertise has been featured in multiple World Championships broadcasts.
Trackside reporting will be led by Radzi Chinyanganya and Taliyah Brooks, offering in-depth analysis and athlete interviews. Chinyanganya, a familiar face in BBC Sports and Olympic coverage, is known for his engaging interviews and energetic presence, while Brooks, a former NCAA and US Olympic team heptathlete, provides unique insights into multi-events and technical aspects of the sport.
The pre- and post-slam shows will be anchored by veteran broadcaster John Anderson, alongside Matt “Centro” Centrowitz and Sanya Richards-Ross. Anderson, best known for his extensive work with ESPN, brings expertise in guiding viewers through race analysis and post-event breakdowns.
Meanwhile, Centrowitz, the 2016 Olympic gold medalist in the 1500m, provides firsthand insight into elite middle-distance racing, and Richards-Ross, a four-time Olympic gold medalist and former 400m world champion, offers elite-level sprint analysis and has been a fixture in NBC Sports’ track & field coverage since 2016.
