Hydel High's Abigail Campbell produced a strong performance to successfully defend her Class One 400m title on day three of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Championships.
Campbell produced 53.03 to take gold ahead of Holmwood Technical’s Abrina Wright and Edwin Allen’s Kellyann Carr who ran the same time (53.53) for silver and bronze, respectively.
Hydel took the top two spots in Class Two through Nastassia Fletcher (52.82) and Sashana Johnson (54.08) while Holmwood Technical’s Maddison Campbell ran 54.44 to take bronze.

Foga Road’s Shameika McLean took gold in Class Three in 54.22 ahead of Holmwood Technical’s Tracey-Ann Evans (55.55 and Hydel’s Shaneil Henry (56.19).

After 16 finals, Hydel lead the points standings with 88, only four more than Edwin Allen in second and five more than Holmwood Technical in third. St. Jago (48) and Immaculate Conception (28) round out the top five.
