Racing United and Harbour View were the only winners in Sunday’s match week 33 action in the Wray & Nephew Premier League.
The now seventh-placed Racing United got a 2-0 win over Vere United at the Ferdie Neita Sports Complex.
Nickyle Ellis gave Racing the lead in the 13th minute before Tyrone Mullings completed the scoring in the 91st minute.
Racing are now two points outside of the top six at 44 with two games in hand.
The defeat keeps Vere United rooted at the bottom of the table on 23 points from their 33 outings.
Harbour View moved up to 10th place thanks to a 1-0 win over Dunbeholden at Dunbeholden.
The lone goal in the game came when Richard Brown scored in his own net one minute before the halftime interval.
The win snaps a three-game losing skid for Harbour View and sees them now two points clear of the relegation zone.
Action continues on Monday with a double-header at the Anthony Spalding Sports Complex. Chapelton Maroons will face Waterhouse before Arnett Gardens takes on Cavalier.
