Fernandes, a former world number 19 and the 2006 CAC Games gold medallist displayed her enduring prowess on the court with a commanding victory over Mary Fung-A-Fat. Despite Fung-A-Fat’s tenacious efforts and deft drop shots, the 41-year-old Fernandes utilized her remarkable court coverage, precise shot selection, and powerful backhand drives to dominate the match.

Fernandes secured the title in straight sets, delivering an emphatic performance with scores of 11-5, 11-7, and 11-1. Her victory underscored her status as one of the most accomplished squash players in the region.

The men’s final offered a similarly electrifying contest, with Jason-Ray Khalil overcoming a spirited challenge from Shomari Wiltshire to claim his second men’s singles title.
