The draw for the AFC Champions League Elite finals has been made, with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr paired with Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos in the last eight.
For the first time in the competition since 2013, teams in the east and west of the continent were not kept apart after until the decider.
Al-Nassr finished third in the West Region, while Yokohama - last season's runners-up - topped the East with six wins out of seven. The winners of the tie will face either Kawasaki Frontale or Qatari side Al-Sadd for a place in the final.
From the quarter-finals onwards, the tournament will be played across a 10-day period in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
On the other side of the bracket, four-time winners Al-Hilal will meet Gwangju in the opening match of the finals. Al-Hilal are one of two unbeaten sides in the tournament alongside Al-Ahli.
Al-Ahli will face Thai champions Buriram United, with the former boasting Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino and Ivan Toney on their roster.
The quarter-finals will be held between April 25 and April 27, while the semi-finals will be on April 29 and 30 before the final on May 3.
