Defending champions, the Guyana Harpy Eagles, will enter the fifth round of the 2025 West Indies Championship with a slight 3.4-point lead over the Trinidad & Tobago Red Force in the points standings.
Both teams each have three wins and a draw through four rounds with the Harpy Eagles having amassed 81.2 points, so far, against the Red Force’s 77.8.
With three wins and a loss, the Barbados Pride are third on 73 points while the Leeward Islands Hurricanes are a distant fourth with 54.4 points after two wins, a loss and a draw.
The Windward Islands Volcanoes are fifth with 42 points after recording their first win of the season, bouncing back from two losses and a draw in the first three rounds.
Three losses in a row after a first-round victory have the Jamaica Scorpions in sixth on 35.6 points while the Combined Campuses and Colleges and West Indies Academy have 20.6 and 19.6 points, respectively, in seventh and eighth with identical records of three losses and a draw.
Round five bowls off on Wednesday with the Harpy Eagles facing the Volcanoes at Providence, the Red Force travelling to Kensington Oval to take on the Pride, the Scorpions facing the Academy at Coolidge and the Hurricanes facing CCC at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
