Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin will both get the opportunity to display their skills on the big stage during the fifth edition of The Hundred.
Matthews is back with the Welsh Fire, the same team she has represented in their first four editions of the competition, after being one of 10 players retained by the team ahead of the 2025 player draft which was held on March 12.
She has played 25 games for the Fire, scoring 662 runs at an average of 30.09 with four fifties and a highest score of 78* which she made in last year’s edition.
Matthews, 27, also has 25 wickets at an average of 20.36 with a best bowling effort of 4-14, also in 2024.
During the March 12 draft, Dottin was selected by the Manchester Originals who she represented in 2022 and 2023 after playing for the London Spirit in the inaugural season in 2021.
She played 10 games for the Originals in those two seasons, scoring 259 runs.
