Southend’s play-off prospects suffer further dent in goalless draw with Woking

The Shrimpers drew for the sixth time in a 10-match unbeaten run which has left them 10 points adrift of the top seven with six games remaining.

Nathan Ralph had a close-range shot saved by Woking goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen before Noor Husin fired just over for the home side shortly after the break.

Jayden Luker had a shot well blocked by Southend stopper Collin Andeng Ndi while Dan Moss also shot wide for the visitors, who had won four of their last five.

Lee Angol, who has joined Woking on loan until the end of the season from Sutton, nearly capped his debut with the winner but his effort was well saved by Andeng Ndi.

Spoils shared as Bromley rescue National League point at Rochdale

Tyrese Sinclair fired a double for Dale, his first from the penalty spot, after Chinwike Okoli had headed Bromley into a first-half lead and before Cheek levelled it up for the visitors.

Bromley defender Okoli headed his side into a 15th-minute lead, but Sinclair converted a 38th-minute penalty after Cameron John had been brought down by Joshua Passley, who was shown a straight red card.

Former Mansfield forward Sinclair then struck his third goal of the season, curling his shot into the top corner to put Dale ahead early in the second period, only for Cheek to steer home a 62nd-minute equaliser on the counter.

Dale were reduced to 10 men when former Leeds and Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Clayton was sent off for a professional foul before Sinclair was denied hat-trick as his deflected shot hit a post.

Stephen Wearne treble secures convincing win for Gateshead over Ebbsfleet

Wearne struck three times in the last half hour as the home side pulled away from their opponents having entered the interval all square.

Kenton Richardson’s deflected effort had given the home side the lead but Ebbsfleet were level when Dominic Poleon capitalised on a spill by Gateshead keeper Archie Mair.

Ebbsfleet keeper Mark Cousins saved superbly to deny Marcus Dingana and Luke Hannant and send his side in level at half-time.

But a rare mistake by the visiting keeper gave Wearne the chance to slot Gateshead’s second after 55 minutes, and nine minutes later Wearne chipped home from the penalty spot after being brought down in the box.

Wearne completed his hat-trick in stoppage time and Ebbsfleet’s miserable day was complete when Poleon’s last-ditch penalty hit the woodwork.

Strugglers Kidderminster and York share spoils after goalless draw

The Harriers, second-bottom of the table, went close when Ashley Hemmings sent a free-kick just over in the 15th minute.

Hemmings was involved again just before the break when he set up Amari Morgan-Smith, whose shot on goal was blocked by York captain Callum Howe.

York, on the back of three straight league defeats, threatened early in the second half when Will Davies had a shot blocked while Kidderminster midfielder Regan Griffiths fired a late chance over as the points were shared.

Lee Ndlovu fired the visitors into the lead in the 27th minute after being set up by Tom Whelan and made it 2-0 shortly before the interval.

Gold Omotayo headed home from Sam Robinson’s cross to reduce the deficit in first-half stoppage time and Jack Lambert saw a shot crash off the crossbar in the second half before a dramatic climax to the contest.

Amari Morgan-Smith thought he had snatched an equaliser in the fourth minute of stoppage time for the home side, only for the referee to blow for a foul in the build-up.

Substitute Joe Grey snatches Hartlepool a point at Altrincham

The visitors broke the deadlock in the 15th minute when Oliver Finney chipped the ball over home goalkeeper Ethan Ross and into the net.

And the home side went in front just before the break as Lewis Baines hammered home in first-half stoppage time.

Hartlepool substitute Grey levelled things up 14 minutes after coming on, slotting home in the 76th minute to earn his side a point.

Taelor O’Kane heads home late equaliser as Fylde leave Halifax with a point

The away side broke the deadlock half an hour in when O’Kane headed in at the back post to make it 1-0.

Halifax turned the game on its head in the second period when Jack Hunter equalised just after the hour mark before Rob Harker smashed the ball home from inside the box.

Danny Whitehead was sent off for Fylde with four minutes remaining, while the decisive moment came deep into stoppage time when O’Kane was on hand to nod home his second header of the night to snatch a much-needed point for the second-bottom side.

Tahvon Campbell bags winner as Solihull Moors beat Rochdale

Callum Maycock gave the visitors a ninth-minute lead from Jack Stevens’ cut-back but Cian Hayes equalised eight minutes later, stepping inside in from the right and firing into the far corner.

Tiernan Brooks saved well from Tyrese Shade and Campbell just before half-time to keep Dale on level terms but Campbell diverted Stevens’ shot in for a second goal six minutes after the restart.

Joe Sbarra had a goal disallowed and was denied by Brooks late on as Moors sought a third.

Tahvon Campbell nets second-half brace as Wealdstone edge Ebbsfleet

Stones had won only twice prior to Saturday’s fixture but responded well to Josh Wright’s 66th-minute leveller for the visitors to clinch all three points at Grosvenor Vale.

Sweltering heat in England meant drinks breaks occurred and – despite the high temperatures – there were chances aplenty during the first 45 minutes in London, but it remained goalless until Campbell broke the deadlock in the 64th minute.

Former Millwall and Charlton midfielder Wright immediately levelled for Ebbsfleet, but Campbell had the final say on proceedings when he was fouled in the area by Chris Solly.

Solly received his marching orders and Rochdale loanee Campbell slotted home the resulting penalty from 12 yards to earn Wealdstone an impressive victory.

The hosts were also down to 10 men at the death as Micah Obiero was shown a second yellow card for a bad foul.

Ten-man Altrincham end four-game losing run with win against Dorking

Alty took an early lead just five minutes into the game when Regan Linney fired home, and Matthew Kosylo doubled their advantage six minutes later with a close-range finish.

Goalscorer Linney was sent off two minutes into first-half stoppage time and Dorking pulled one back on the hour-mark when Tom Blair smashed the ball into the top corner from the penalty spot.

Alty held on to seal victory, meaning they sit two points outside the play-off places, while Dorking drop into the relegation zone.

Ten-man Wealdstone earn draw at home to Boreham Wood

Erico Sousa put Wood ahead in the 18th minute, but Tarryn Allarakhia produced a brilliant leveller before half-time in the National League clash.

Barrett’s sending-off in the 68th minute made the final exchanges an uphill battle for Wealdstone, but they held firm to end their three-match losing run.

Sousa gave the visitors the perfect start when he cut inside and rifled into the bottom corner in London.

Allarakhia made sure Wealdstone were on level terms at the break when he collected the ball by the halfway line and dribbled past a number of opponents before he side-footed into the bottom corner in the pouring rain.

The hosts’ chances of pushing for a winner were largely ended when Barrett received two bookings in the space of 11 minutes and it finished all square.

Thierry Latty-Fairweather hits stunner as York ease past nine-man Southend

The Minstermen were the only team to have not won after eight league games but they went ahead in the 26th minute thanks to a brilliant right-footed effort from 30 yards by left-back Thierry Latty-Fairweather.

Southend, who have won four matches and are at the foot of the table due to a 10-point deduction, were reduced to 10 men in the 74th minute when Harry Taylor was shown a red card for pulling back York striker Dipo Akinyemi on the edge of the area.

The hosts made the most of the numerical advantage with Maziar Kouhyar and Zanda Siziba putting the game out of sight with goals in the 74th and 76th minute.

Full-back Gus Scott-Morriss was then shown a straight red card with two minutes remaining to cap a miserable day for Southend.

Todd Miller fires Bromley to back-to-back wins with victory at Altrincham

Corey Whitely put the visitors in front 12 minutes in with a sweet curling effort landing in the top corner.

Their lead was short-lived though as Altrincham pulled one back in the 23rd minute after Justin Amaluzor levelled from a corner.

Ravens goalkeeper Grant Smith made a great save to deny Dior Angus after the break before Bes Topalloj had an effort from distance which flew wide.

Bromley found the winner in the 87th minute when Miller slotted home to earn his first goal for the club and hand Altrincham their first defeat of the season.

Tom Blair strike gives Dorking win at York

Winger Blair cut inside and fired powerfully in off the crossbar with five minutes remaining for the only goal of the game at the LNER Community Stadium.

Prior to the breakthrough, substitute Will Davies had the best chance of the contest for the hosts, striking the post shortly after his introduction in the early stages of the second half.

Dorking’s sixth away win of the season moves them level with their opponents, three points clear of the bottom four.

Tom Eastman goal gives Dagenham victory at rock bottom Kidderminster

Tom Eastman netted the winner – his second goal in as many matches – in the 82nd minute.

The hosts had the best chance of the first half when Amari Morgan-Smith found Bailey Hobson inside the area and his shot was well saved by Elliot Justham.

Jake Hessenthaler missed a great opportunity for Dagenham, nodding over from eight yards, before Eastman powered in a header from a corner to secure Daggers’ third consecutive away win.

Tony Craig ends Dorking’s wait for a goal and gives them victory at Halifax

Craig headed home his first goal for Dorking before half-time and the visitors turned in a disciplined defensive display as Halifax slipped to their second defeat of the season.

The hosts were twice denied in the first half by Dorking goalkeeper Harrison Male, who kept out goalbound efforts from Luke Summerfield and Adam Senior.

Jamie Stott headed just over for Halifax from a corner before Dorking scored their first goal in four matches to take a 34th-minute lead, with Craig heading home George Francomb’s cross.

Halifax pressed for an equaliser in the second half and Millenic Alli’s effort from outside the box was blocked and Rob Harker headed wide in the closing stages.

Two-goal second-half show gives Daggers victory over Altrincham

Daggers took the lead on 42 minutes at Victoria Road when Ryan Hill converted from the spot after a foul on Tom Eastman but this was quickly cancelled out by a penalty at the other end.

This time Eastman was the guilty party with a trip on Regan Linney, who stepped up to score himself.

Chris Conn-Clarke hit the post for Altrincham after the break but Rees put Daggers ahead from close range on the hour and Phipps secured victory five minutes later.

Tylor Golden nets late winner as Halifax claim comeback victory over Woking

The visitors travelled south with just one win in their last 10 games and fell behind to Tunji Akinola’s opener on the stroke of half-time.

Halifax were level after 77 minutes when Millenic Alli was fouled in the box and Angelo Cappello stepped up to fire the resulting penalty beneath Woking goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen to level matters.

Woking almost won it in injury time when a Dennon Lewis header was brilliantly saved by Sam Johnson, before Golden stepped up to snatch the points.

Tyrese Shade scores twice as Solihull ease to victory against Ebbsfleet

Midfielder Tyrese Shade opened the scoring after 19 minutes, getting on the end of a pass from James Clarke who got forward with a driving run and finishing low into the corner.

Captain Jamey Osborne scored with a deflected strike from outside the box with 20 minutes to play, before Shade grabbed his second and Solihull’s third late on to seal it.

The defeat leaves Ebbsfleet still five points clear of the relegation places in 18th.
