Jamaica Premier League Matches Postponed as Referees Withdraw Services Over Unpaid Fees

The Jamaica Premier League (JPL) was thrown into disarray on Sunday after referees withdrew their services, forcing the postponement of all scheduled matches. The decision stems from a reported J$8 million in unpaid referees' fees, a debt owed by the Jamaica Professional Football Limited (PFJL), the entity responsible for managing the league. It remains unclear how long these outstanding payments have been overdue.
