Grand Slam Track™ has unveiled the highly anticipated Racer Groups for its inaugural season, which will begin at Kingston’s National Stadium this April. The groundbreaking series will then make stops in Miami, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, showcasing a thrilling lineup of elite athletes competing for prize money, pride, and the coveted title of Slam champion.

The Racer Groups are organized into short sprint and long sprint event categories, with each group featuring four Racers who will face off against four challengers at each meet. The innovative format is designed to deliver high-octane competition and electrify fans around the globe.

In the women’s short sprints, fans will witness top-tier performances from Brittany Brown, Daryll Neita, Gabby Thomas, and Melissa Jefferson. On the men’s side, the star-studded lineup includes World 100m Champion Fred Kerley, Olympic 200m silver medalist Kenny Bednarek, Jamaica’s Oblique Seville, and British record holder Zharnel Hughes.

The women’s long sprints are headlined by World 400m Champion Marileidy Paulino, Jamaican standout Nickisha Pryce, former World Champion Salwa Eid Naser, and rising star Alexis Holmes. The men’s long sprints will feature an equally impressive cast, including Commonwealth Games Champion Jereem Richards, British 400m Champion Matthew Hudson-Smith, Zambia’s sensation Muzala Samukonga, and the United States’ Quincy Hall.

The series opener in Kingston promises to be a spectacular start to the Grand Slam Track™ season. As the birthplace of sprint legends, Jamaica will provide a fitting backdrop for the intense rivalries and breathtaking performances expected in this groundbreaking format.
