Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said Antonio Brown is "not a fit" for the franchise as he dismissed the possibility of a reunion with Tom Brady.

Since Brady swapped the New England Patriots for the Buccaneers in free agency, talk of the legendary NFL quarterback teaming up with wide receiver Brown has emerged.

Brown – a seven-time Pro Bowler – played just one game for the Patriots last season before a series of off-field incidents saw him cut by New England.

Arians worked with Brown during his time at the Pittsburgh Steelers but the Buccaneers will not be signing the controversial 31-year-old.

"Yeah, it's not gonna happen," Arians told CBS Sports Network. "There's no room. And probably not enough money. But it's not gonna happen – it's not a fit here."

On whether he does not trust Brown and his potential impact on Tampa Bay's culture, Arians said: "No," Arians said. "I just know him, and – it's not a fit in our locker room."
