Plenty is on the line when the Golden State Warriors take on the Los Angeles Clippers on the final day of the NBA regular season.
Stephen Curry is relishing a "Game 7 vibe" as the Golden State Warriors ready themselves for a tussle with the Los Angeles Clippers.
There is plenty on the line for both teams in their final regular-season game on Sunday.
Golden State are already assured of at least a play-in spot, but a win over the Clippers would see them secure a top-six berth.
A win could see the Clippers finish as high as fourth, though a defeat could see them finish seventh.
And Curry feels this will act as a de facto playoff game.
"I don't want to be too dramatic. It should be like a Game 7 kind of vibe," Curry said, as reported by ESPN.
"You win and you control your destiny on a guaranteed playoffs series. If you lose, you roll the dice."
Draymond Green echoed Curry's sentiment.
"[It will be] like a playoff game," Green said. "Super intense. Two teams fighting for their playoff lives.
"Expect [it] to be a very physical, high-intelligent, high-level basketball game."
Curry scored 14 points as the Warriors beat the Portland Trail Blazers 103-86 on Friday, and the veteran campaigner brushed aside any injury concerns despite aggravating a thumb issue.
"From what I know, just an aggravation," Curry said.
"The same thing [as the earlier thumb injury], but hopefully it wasn't anything serious.
"I'm feeling great. Ready to play Game 82 on Sunday. Excited about it."
