Arizona wing Josh Green announced Friday he will enter the 2020 NBA draft and become the latest player to leave the Wildcats' program after one season.
Green started 30 games and averaged 12.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists as a freshman for Arizona in 2019-20
The Sydney, Australia native led the Wildcats with 46 steals, and also had a shot percentage of 36.1 from three-point range.
"Ever since I was a little kid in Australia, it's been a dream of mine to play in the NBA," Green, 19, wrote on his Twitter account. "I'm proud to take a step closer to that dream."
Despite what many have deemed an underwhelming season for him, Green becomes the third Arizona player to declare for the draft following a strong freshman season.
He joins point guard Nico Mannion and centre Zeke Nnaji. All three are projected to be first-round picks.
