Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz will once again step onto the region’s grandest stage with eyes fixed on glory, after being drawn into Group C for the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup, set to unfold from June 14 to July 6 across 14 stadiums in the United States and Canada.

The Reggae Boyz will square off against familiar regional rivals Panama, Guatemala, and Guadeloupe in the group stage of the tournament's 18th edition, a pivotal opportunity for Jamaica to assert their status as the Caribbean's number one ranked team.

With the group stages set to take place from June 14 to 24, the Boyz will look to replicate and improve on recent head-to-head successes. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals scheduled for June 28 and 29, followed by the semifinals on July 2 and the much-anticipated final on July 6.

Jamaica’s draw brings back a host of positive memories. The Boyz have recent Gold Cup victories over all three of their Group C opponents—a psychological edge that could prove invaluable heading into the summer.

In the 2023 edition, Jamaica edged past Guatemala 1-0 in the quarterfinals thanks to a decisive goal from Amari’i Bell. Panama, another seasoned rival, last faced Jamaica in the 2019 Gold Cup quarterfinals, where the Boyz again emerged 1-0 victors.

Meanwhile, Guadeloupe gave Jamaica a bit more to think about in their 2021 Gold Cup meeting, but the Boyz ultimately triumphed 2-1 in a contest that revealed both their depth and resilience.

With star power emerging both at home and abroad, the 2025 edition could be a breakthrough moment for the Reggae Boyz, who have finished as runners-up twice in recent years (2015 and 2017) but are still chasing their first Gold Cup title.

Elsewhere, Mexico, Costa Rica, Suriname, and the Dominican Republic will contest Group A, while Canada, Honduras, El Salvador, and Curacao will compete in Group B. United States, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, and guest team Saudi Arabia will do battle in Group D.
