Shortwood United produced one of the most impressive performances of the weekend in the KSAFA Wray and Nephew Championship League, blanking Duhaney Park FC 3-0 in their Zone A clash on Saturday, April 12.
Goals from Daniel Dixon, Alex Bagalue, and Rajeeve Clarke powered Shortwood to a commanding victory, marking one of the most dominant results in a competitive round of fixtures.
In other Zone A action, Marverly/Hughenden FC and Boys’ Town played out a thrilling 3-3 draw. Shacoby Whyte, Ronaldo Moore, and Jason Keys were on target for Marverly, while Boys’ Town responded with three of their own in an evenly matched contest.
Olympic Gardens and Constant Spring FC also battled to a 1-1 stalemate. Mario Burton gave Olympic the lead before Colieke Richards equalised for Constant Spring, ensuring both teams walked away with a point.
Meanwhile, in Zone B, August Town FC turned heads with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Browns Town FC, led by a clinical hat-trick from Rushaun Linton. Andrew Mattis added the fourth to round off a dominant display.
Barbican FC edged JDF FC 1-0 thanks to a decisive strike from Shaquelle Lewis, while Real Mona FC eased past Santos FC 3-0.
