Frazsiers Whip reclaimed pole position in the Jamaica Women’s Premier League standings with a crucial 2-1 victory over rivals Cavalier in a key matchup on Saturday.

Goals from Shennel Walters in the 13th minute and Davia Richards in the 27th gave Frazsiers Whip a firm advantage before Cavalier’s Tatyana Polack pulled one back in the 59th minute. Despite Cavalier’s second-half pressure, Frazsiers held their nerve to secure all three points and return to the summit of the league table.

Elsewhere, Los Perfectos secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Proven FC, courtesy of an early strike from Abigail Elliott in the 10th minute. Proven pressed for an equalizer but were unable to find a way through Los Perfectos’ resilient defense.

At the UWI Bowl, the University of the West Indies (UWI) dominated Springers United with a commanding 3-0 victory. Alicia James starred for UWI, netting twice in the 42nd and 90th minutes, while Daniesha Hall added another goal in the 72nd minute to complete the comprehensive win.

Arnett Gardens also enjoyed a strong showing, brushing aside WiFi United 3-0. Shikira Douglas opened the scoring in the 18th minute, with Briana Crosby doubling the lead in the 53rd before Amoy McKenzie sealed the result with an 81st-minute strike.

Meanwhile, Mile Gully turned in a dominant performance to dispatch Federal United 4-0. Lara Kay Hanson opened the scoring in the 6th minute before an own goal extended their lead in the 17th. Judeen Ebanks added a third just before halftime in the 44th minute, and Nickela Thomas completed the rout in the 55th minute.
