Frazsiers Whip Football Club continued their fine form in the Jamaica Women’s Premier League (JWPL) on Saturday, rallying from an early deficit to secure a commanding 3-1 win over WiFi United.

WiFi took the lead in the 8th minute through Evernique McCleary, but the joy was short-lived. Nevillegail Able equalized six minutes later and doubled her tally in the 29th to swing the momentum firmly in Frazsiers’ favour. Davia Richards added a third on the stroke of halftime to put the game beyond reach, sealing a second consecutive win that keeps Frazsiers Whip firmly in playoff contention.

While Frazsiers impressed, Cavalier SC made the loudest statement of the round with a ruthless 7-0 demolition of Springers United. The goals came in waves, beginning with Tamara O’Sullivan in the 10th minute. Shanel Spence added a brace, striking in the 24th and 51st, while Shadie Shirley calmly converted a penalty in the 32nd. There was no let-up in the second half as Tatyana Polack (44’), Stephanie Morgan (82’), and Deshanna Cole (88’) completed the massacre. The dominant performance leaves Cavalier looking like early title favourites, with their blend of pace, power, and precision proving too much for Springers.

Elsewhere, Mile Gully FC came from behind to edge Proven Girls FC 2-1 in a tightly contested encounter. Juilicia Pinnock gave Proven a dream start with a goal in just the second minute, but Mile Gully found their rhythm and equalized through Samera Findley in the 30th. The decisive moment came in the 58th minute when Janeel Williams finished confidently to hand Mile Gully their second win of the campaign.

In Montego Bay, Real MoBay AFC maintained their strong start to the season with a 3-1 win over Federal United. Nadisha Jones put the visitors ahead in the 18th minute, and though Yasheka Lewis pulled one back for Federal in the 55th, late goals from Shalonie Williams in the 77th and Daniel Beckford in the 88th ensured Real MoBay walked away with all three points.

Meanwhile, in Mandeville, Arnett Gardens FC staged a late surge to defeat Los Perfectos 2-1. After a goalless first half, Venecia Reid fired Los Perfectos ahead in the 52nd minute. But Arnett responded quickly through Tuanashae Hamilton, who levelled in the 55th and returned to snatch the winner with a composed finish in the 89th.

With the regular season heating up, Saturday’s action showed just how wide open the 2025 JWPL title race could be. Frazsiers Whip and Cavalier look strong, but Real MoBay, Arnett Gardens, and Mile Gully are quietly building momentum of their own. As the league progresses, the battles are only getting more intense.
