Father-Daughter Duo McMaster Capture Titles at Rangers Sporting Clays Classic

It was a day of high drama, soaring clay targets, and scorching heat at the Rangers Gun Club Sporting Clays Classic on Sunday, May 4 —but nothing burned brighter than the performance of father-daughter pair Ray and Aliana McMaster. The duo emerged as standout winners at the scenic Tru-Juice Complex in Bog Walk, St. Catherine, where over 130 shooters battled for glory on a challenging course made even tougher by sweltering temperatures and high humidity.

Chad Ziadie & Aliana McMaster crowned National Shotgun Champions again

Chad Ziadie and Aliana McMaster are still beaming from being crowned Jamaica’s National Shotgun Champions at the Jade Garden Restaurant in Kingston recently.

They, along with the many shooters who competed in the various events that made up the championship, were celebrated by the Jamaica Skeet Club at its awards function.

Craig Simpson & Aliana McMaster out-shoot field in Jackson Bay Sporting Clays

Craig Simpson and Aliana McMaster took home the top prizes at the Jackson bay Hunting and Fishing Club Sporting Clay tournament.

McMaster returned to successfully defend her Ladies title while consistent performer Simpson engaged Shaun Barnes and Chad Ziadie in a three-way shoot-off to cop the highest overall winner's trophy in some conditions that proved challenging for the 155 shooters that competed. 

Sasso, McMaster outgun rivals at Rangers Sporting Clays Classic

Christian Sasso and Aliana McMaster toppled defending champions Craig Simpson and Wendy McMaster to finish tops at the Rangers Gun Club Sporting Clays Classic at the True Juice complex in Bog Walk, St. Catherine, recently.

Sasso won by one shot after a tense shoot-off with Chad Ziadie. Both men shot 91 at the end of the regulation 100-bird shoot, hence the need for the shoot-off to determine the eventual winner. 

Ziadie, McMaster ready to defend PWD Winter Open titles

Reigning national shotgun champions Chad Ziadie and Aliana McMaster are favoured to retain their respective titles at this year’s PWD Winter Open Sporting Clays Tournament at the True-Juice Estate in St Catherine on Sunday.
