According to sources, Jamaican Olympic and World Championship relay medalist Stacey Ann Williams has left Elite Performance Track Club and moved to Arkansas-based Hurdle Mechanics.
Sportsmax.tv has yet to independently verify this information.
The former St. Elizabeth Technical High School star had been training under the guidance of Reynaldo Walcott since turning pro in 2023 and is now reportedly taking instructions from Lawrence “Boogie” Johnson.
Williams is the latest Jamaican to join the fast-growing camp that includes the likes of Ackera Nugent, Nickisha Pryce and, most recently, Alana Reid.
The 25-year-old was a member of Jamaica’s silver medal-winning 4x400m relay teams at the World Championships in Eugene in 2022 and Budapest in 2023 as well as the bronze medal-winning quartet at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
She currently has a personal best of 50.00 in the 400m done last year in Croatia.
