The eight fastest girls and eight fastest boys from the ISSA GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Championships across all age groups in the 100m, 200m, and 400m will get an opportunity to compete in exhibition races of those distances during Grand Slam Track’s inaugural Slam in Kingston which runs from April 4-6.
This is a collaboration by Grand Slam Track, the global home of professional track competition launched by four-time Olympic Champion Michael Johnson, and the ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championships.
The boys and girls invited to attend will compete on Saturday, April 5, in advance of the professional races at National Stadium.
They will experience the same race protocols, equipment, and event presentation show as Grand Slam Track competitors.
ISSA will serve as the race promoter finalizing the list of invitees to create the fastest fields based on performances at the 2025 Champs.
Track Fans who attend the Kingston Slam - Grand Slam Track's inaugural event - will now see the fastest professional track competitors in the world plus the fastest Jamaican high school athletes fresh off their successes at Champs.
The ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championships begin today, March 25, and run through Saturday, March 29.
