Golden State Warriors snapped a two-game losing streak to win 131-106 against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr was delighted with the performance of Quinten Post as they snapped their two-game losing run with a 131-106 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.

Post put up a career-best 20 points, five rebounds and three assists in the match, which moves the Warriors onto a record of 22-22 and leaves them 11th in the Western Conference, one game back on Phoenix Suns in the final play-in spot.

Steph Curry also recorded 21 points and seven assists, while Gui Santos added 19 points with five three-pointers and Andrew Wiggins had 17 points.

Having blown an 18-point lead against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, Kerr was pleased to get over the line and made clear his thoughts on Post's showing.

"He picks and pops, that means the other team's big guy has to go with him," he said.

"That means that defender is not in the paint, so Steph was the happiest guy in the building tonight. With all of that room to work with, the game got a lot easier for all of our guys. It was really exciting just watching Quinten, but it goes beyond the shooting.

"It's a feel, saw passing... he sees and feels the game, he's got some toughness to him."

Curry was playing back-to-back games for the first time since November due to tendinitis in his knees, having been named in a home All-Star Game earlier that day.

Having previously called the team out following the Warriors' defeat to the Boston Celtics days earlier, things are looking up for Curry.

“I don’t know if you read stuff, if you hear stuff, you got family members that wanna talk about what we need to do… you have to be able to just focus on what you individually need to do to get ready for the next game” said Curry after the Celtics defeat.

Next up for the Warriors is the visit of the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday.
