Coming off his recent standout performance against Toronto FC, Reggae Boy and Inter Miami CF defender Damion Lowe has been named to the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi for Week 26 of the 2022 MLS regular season.

Lowe was dominating defensively against Toronto FC in Inter Miami’s crucial hard-fought 2-1 victory at DRV PNK Stadium on Saturday night. The Reggae Boyz defender five of his seven duels in the match and helped deny several Toronto forays into the attacking third, particularly in the latter stages of the match.

In addition to his towering performance in defence, Lowe registered his first MLS assist, cushioning a header back across the box to Ariel Lassiter for the winning goal to cap off a well-worked free-kick routine.

This latest accolade marks Lowe’s fourth Team of the Week designation of the season, the most among Inter Miami players in 2022.

The club has now had a representative, either player or coach, in the Team of the Week in 14 different weeks of the 2022 MLS regular season.

Lowe made Team of the Week in weeks one, 12, 18 and 26.
