Son Heung-min made no excuses for Tottenham's poor form after they lost 2-1 to Leicester City, a result that left them 15th in the table.
Tottenham captain Son Heung-min acknowledged his team's form is not good enough after they were stunned 2-1 by Leicester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
The hosts had taken the lead through Richarlison but found themselves behind after 50 minutes with Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khannouss scoring immediately after the break.
Tottenham have failed to win any of their last seven top-flight games (D1 L6), their longest winless run in the top-flight since a nine-match stint between May and October 2008.
The defeat was also the first time since a loss to Notts County in 1912 that Spurs lost at home against a side who'd lost their previous seven league games in succession.
Ange Postecoglou's side sit 15th in the standings in a season that has been hindered by several injuries to first-team players throughout the entirety of their squad.
Son, however, refused to accept that their absentees were an excuse for their failings this term, saying: "It is painful. It's happened a few times already this season.
"It feels like scoring goals is so hard, but conceding goals is way too easy. I haven't seen them back yet, but it is a lack of concentration, definitely, and a bit of sloppiness.
"We knew they were going to come. We're going to have to sit down and talk about what went wrong.
"I've played more games than I expected, but that is our job. Mentally, we just have to refresh and get ready and go again. I know it can be tough.
"When you get wins you can get better feelings, but it is harder after today. It is very tough at the moment."
Tottenham are eight points clear of relegation, but Son did not want to place them in a battle to stay up.
"It is definitely not good enough. We've had way too many losses, but there are still a lot of games remaining, and we'll have a lot of players back," Son added.
"We're not talking about anything, we just play each game and try and get three points."
