Manchester United forward Geyse has joined Gotham FC on loan until the end of the season.
The Brazilian will be with the United States club for the whole of the 2025 National Women's Soccer League campaign, which runs until November, subject to international clearance.
Geyse joined United from Barcelona in August 2023 and has made 39 appearances in all competitions, netting three goals during that time.
She has made just nine Women's Super League appearances this season but, after their victory over Leicester City earlier this month, posted an emotional message about feeling "lonely" and unhappy at United.
She had been granted compassionate leave after the death of her brother, which saw her miss four matches across January and February. Geyse's agent then accused United of trying to secure a loan deal for her while she attended her brother's funeral.
"The loan deal is important to Geyse as we continue to have her wellbeing at the centre of our decision-making," said interim head of women's football Matt Johnson.
"We wish her well with Gotham."
