West Indian left-hander Nicholas Pooran continued his sizzling hot start to this season’s TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) with another half-century to lead his Lucknow Super Giants to a six-wicket win over the Gujarat Titans in Lucknow on Saturday.
The Titans, after being put in to bat by Lucknow skipper Rishabh Pant, made a respectable 180-6 from their 20 overs.
Captain Shubman Gill made an elegant 60 off 38 balls while opening partner Sai Sudharsan made his third fifty in a row and fifth overall this season with 56 off 37 balls.

West Indian Sherfane Rutherford also chipped in with 22 off 19 balls.
Shardul Thakur picked up 2-34 from his four overs of medium pace while leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi picked up 2-36 from his four overs.
The Super Giants then got to 186-4 with three balls to spare, getting their third straight win and ending the Titans’ four-game win streak in the process.
Pooran was the star of the show once again with a 34-ball 61 including one four and seven sixes, his third fifty in a row and fifth this season.
The 29-year-old Trinidadian now has 349 runs in six innings this season at an average of 69.80 and an insane strike rate of 215.43.
Aiden Markram, who was named man of the match, supported well with 58 off 31 balls including nine fours and a six at the top of the order.
Impact substitute Ayush Badoni finished 28* off 20 balls.
Pacer Prasidh Krishna took 2-26 in his four overs for the Titans.
