Devendra Bishoo shines as California Knights take down New York Warriors

Kamran Akmal got the Warriors off to a great start as he smashed two boundaries in the first two overs. However, he fell to Devendra Bishoo for 12 runs off 9 balls in the third over. Tillakaratne Dilshan kept the Warriors' hopes alive with a flurry of boundaries, but he was run out for 43 runs off 27 balls in the ninth over. 

Irfan Pathan bowled a fantastic final over to close out the match for the California Knights. He conceded just 5 runs in the last over of the match.

Earlier in the day, California Knights won the toss and chose to bat first. Aaron Finch got their innings going through a string of boundaries, however, he was dismissed by Abdur Rehman for 24 runs off 12 balls in the third over. Thereafter, the Knights kept losing wickets at regular intervals, however, they continued to bat at a decent strike rate. 

Ashley Nurse struck a couple of sixes in the last two overs and helped the Knights reach 106/5 in their 10 overs.

Richard Levi's fantastic innings helps New York Warriors take down Morrisville Unity in US Masters T10 League

The New York Warriors posted 124/3 in their 10 overs before restricting Morrisville Unity to 118/5.

The Morrisville Unity couldn't get their batting innings going right from the beginning of their innings as Parthiv Patel was dismissed by Dhammika Prasad for 3 runs in the third over. Chris Gayle and Corey Anderson also departed in quick succession, leaving Morrisville Unity in deep trouble at 33/3 in 5 overs.

Thereafter, Obus Pienaar played a brilliant innings of 35 runs from 12 balls and Shehan Jayasuriya smashed 28* runs off 10 balls, but they couldn't take their team over the line.

Earlier in the day, Morrisville Unity won the toss and put the New York Warriors into bat. Tillakaratne Dilshan got the Warriors off to a great start as he struck Calvin Savage for consecutive boundaries in the second over. However, he was trapped LBW by Obus Pienaar in the very next over. But Richard Levi ensured that the momentum stayed on the Warriors' side as he struck two fours and two sixes off Rahul Sharma's bowling in the fourth over.

Thereafter, Levi smacked Sreesanth for three consecutive sixes and took the Warriors' score to 73/1 in five overs. He sent the ball over the boundary two more times before falling to Calvin Savage for a scintillating innings of 66 runs from 25 balls in the ninth over. Corey Anderson conceded just eight runs in the last over as the New York Warriors posted 124/3 in their 10 overs.

Texas Chargers win US Masters T10 final via Super Over

The Warriors took first strike and posted a respectable 92-6 off their 10 overs. Former West Indies batsmen Jonathan Carter led the way with 39 off 17 balls against 3-11 from Pakistani pacer Ehsan Adil.

Another Pakistani pacer, Sohail Khan, then produced a magical spell with the ball for the Warriors to get them to a super over.

Khan ended up with figures of 5-15 from his two overs, with four of those wickets coming in the ninth over of the innings.

Shahid Afridi took both of his wickets in the last over to take the game to the super over.

Player-of -the-Tournament Mohammad Hafeez had earlier made 46 for the Chargers.

Onto the super overs where, Sohail Khan, who had earlier picked up five wickets to keep New York in the game, kept Texas to 15. 

Sohail Tanvir then stepped up and restricted the Warriors to 13, despite a last-ball six from Jonathan Carter.
