Philippe Clement wants Rangers to go from strength to strength after winning his first trophy as Ibrox boss.
A 75th-minute strike from skipper James Tavernier proved enough to beat Aberdeen in the Viaplay Cup final at Hampden Park.
It was the first silverware for the Belgian manager since taking over from Michael Beale in October and ended a fine week for the Light Blues.
After beating Real Betis 3-2 away to clinch a place in the last 16 of the Europa League on Thursday night, Celtic’s 2-0 cinch Premiership defeat at home to Hearts on Saturday gave a title boost to the second-placed Gers before they claimed the Viaplay Cup for the first time since 2011.
Asked if his side could now build on this success, Clement said: “I believe in that. I think if you feel this, it creates a certain hunger for more.
“That’s my mentality and it’s always how I’ve been and I see this more and more in the dressing room.
“It doesn’t mean we are going to win all the games all season, that’s not realistic, but we need to push to win all the games.
“If you have this mentality with the way we want to play football, with the way everything is analysed, with the quality we have, we can do really good things.
“But football is always confirmation. If you have satisfaction for one moment and are happy with the way things are, you will go down.
“So in the next weeks and months I want to see this hunger and desire, to be better, to work hard, to be in the team and also the team mentality that is in the dressing room now.
“If I see the path the team has taken the last nine weeks, everyone sees a team that is growing.
“It is not easy after an historical win on Thursday in away game in Seville, with the travelling and everything, to have the same focus we had today. So that was a main thing for me and they did a brilliant job.
“Aberdeen are a hard team to beat, but in the end we deserved this victory.”
Clement praised Tavernier, who scored his 15th goal of the season, firing in at the back post after controlling a cross from fellow full-back Borna Barisic.
He said: “Very pleased. Not only for him but everybody, but Tav has shown really good quality in the last couple of weeks.
“He has been one of the leaders to push, to perform, to be important, to take responsibility in every moment.
“He has never hidden when we wanted to play, he has been important with assists and goals and we need to continue that story in the next couple of months.”
Dons boss Barry Robson praised his players for their valiant effort, saying: “The players gave me everything, that was clear.
“When you have Rangers Football club hanging in there at the end, kicking balls out the pitch, it showed you what we tried to do as a team.
“I said to them well done for giving us everything. They gave us every drop, every ounce.
“Rangers are a good side, they just beat Real Betis in Spain, you have to remember that.
“They are a really good team with a good manager. It is a proper team we were playing against.
“We had a go and I am just frustrated for the fans that we couldn’t get that ball over the line today.”
Pareja sees no limit to what Orlando can achieve in playoffs
Orlando City head coach Oscar Pareja is taking the playoffs one game at a time, with the Eastern Conference semifinals next up, but would love to bring the MLS Cup back to Florida.
The Lions are the highest-seeded team in the East, meaning they will have home advantage for the final if they make it past Atlanta United on Sunday.
They beat Charlotte FC in the first round, winning both of their home matches – the second on penalties – to advance, and Pareja remains hopeful his side can keep their playoff journey going.
"It's good [that the road to the final goes through Orlando]," he said. "I'm always optimistic to advance and have the advantage to play it at home and the next game.
"In Major League Soccer, anything can happen. I would love to not just advance to the final of the conference but to bring the MLS Cup here. Our responsibility is to play one game at a time, and we're going to be ready for this one for sure."
Atlanta, meanwhile, pulled off arguably one of the greatest upsets in playoff history when they knocked out MLS Cup favourites Inter Miami.
Having lost the first tie, they won the following two in the series to advance, having previously been given a slim chance of making the playoffs in the first place, getting through by beating Orlando 2-1 away on decision day.
Before another trip to Florida, Dax McCarty outlined the ways in which they can make it difficult for their hosts.
"It's a fine balance," he said. "You don't want to allow them to have too much of the ball, because then we get frustrated...
"We're just going to have to be sharp in all phases of the game, in transition and possession, because if we can keep the ball away from them, they don't want that, they'll get a little bit frustrated."

This will be the first postseason meeting between Orlando and Atlanta. Orlando have four wins in 22 all-time meetings with the Five Stripes (D7 L11), including losing the only previous knockout match 2-0 in the 2019 US Open Cup semifinals.

Slot: Guardiola contract is 'good news' for Premier League
Arne Slot believes it is "good news" for the Premier League that Pep Guardiola has signed a contract extension with Manchester City.
The Spaniard signed a two-year extension with the reigning champions and will remain in the dugout at the Etihad until 2027.
He has won 18 major trophies in his time at City, including six Premier League titles, and twice beat Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool to the top-flight crown by a single point.
Guardiola averages 2.35 points per game in the Premier League, the highest rate of any manager (20+ matches). Indeed, he is so far ahead of the next highest (Alex Ferguson's 2.16), he could lose his next 26 league games in a row and would still be top.
Slot is yet to face City since taking over from Klopp at the start of the season, with the rivals' first meeting of the season set for December 1.
"It's good news for City and for the league because everyone wants the best managers and the best players over here," Slot said when asked about Guardiola's new contract.
"He is definitely one of the best managers, maybe the best manager of the league.
"He's won four titles in a row, so it's fair to say he's maybe the best manager in the league.
"On the other hand, they have so many quality players that, if he would have made the choice to leave, I wouldn't have expected them to end up bottom of the league next season."
Other Premier League managers echoed Slot's sentiment, with Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler, who inflicted a fourth consecutive defeat on City before the international break, saying it is the "best thing that can happen to the Premier League".
"He is one of the best coaches in the world," Hurzeler said. "With his ideas, he always brings something new to the football stage, and it is always a challenge to compete against him.
"He always adapts quickly, always has new ideas and he can always win the game. I'm very happy because we can learn from him and to compete with him is a big, big experience."
Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe added: "He's contributed so much to English football. He's revolutionised how a lot of teams play.
"I think he's incredibly talented, and it's good for the English game that he's still here.
"He will continue to develop and evolve his style, and people will potentially continue to follow that. From the competition side, I think it keeps the Premier League as the best in the world."
Vlahovic out of Juventus clash with Milan
Dusan Vlahovic will miss Juventus' trip to Milan in Serie A this weekend and is also a doubt for the Champions League game at Aston Villa, head coach Thiago Motta has confirmed.
Vlahovic returned from the international break with a muscle problem in his left thigh, and the manager, after he confirmed the Serbian's absence for Saturday's game at San Siro, was asked about his chances of playing on Wednesday at Villa Park.
"I don't know. He definitely won't be there tomorrow. We hope to have him back as soon as possible," Motta told a press conference on Friday.
"Injuries are part of football. Now it's Vlahovic's turn, but we'll keep playing with the same principles, attacking and defending together."
Vlahovic is the latest of Motta's injury problems at Juventus. Argentine winger Nicolas Gonzalez missed the last six league games and is still unavailable, while Poland striker Arkadiusz Milik is a long-term absentee.
Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz will also miss the game with Milan and defender Juan Cabal recently suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury, the same issue which will keep fellow defender Gleison Bremer out for the rest of the season.
"I'm really disappointed for Cabal because, like Bremer, he'll be out for a long time," Motta said.
"This is another reason to push ourselves, to commit that bit more so that these absences don't weigh too heavily."
Juventus go into the game as the only unbeaten side in Serie A but find themselves sixth in the standings in what is so far a very tight title race, with just two points separating Motta's side from leaders Napoli.
"It's very balanced and this is good for both us and the public," Motta said.
"We must all try to continue like this. We have to try to get as many positive results as possible."
Milan are one place behind Juve but six points off Motta's side.
