Two-time 200m world champion Shericka Jackson is enjoying her time in Barbados, where she is a special guest of music icon and entrepreneur Rihanna for the Fenty x Puma Collection launch. The event, hosted by Rihanna in her homeland, showcased the latest Fenty x Puma collection on Thursday, drawing global attention from the worlds of fashion, entertainment, and sports.

Jackson, who has been one of Puma’s standout track and field ambassadors, looked lean and competition-ready ahead of what promises to be another exciting season on the track. However, this trip was all about fashion, fun, and culture, as the sprint star fully embraced the island energy.

As part of her Barbados experience, Jackson participated in Field Day, an event filled with games and fun activities with local children. The Jamaican sprint queen brought her competitive spirit and infectious personality, making the day extra special for the youngsters.

She shared her excitement on social media, posting:

"It’s Field Day but Team Yellow didn’t come to play Nice💛💛⭐️⭐️."

The event further highlighted Jackson’s love for community engagement, showing that beyond her dominance on the track, she is equally passionate about inspiring and connecting with young fans.

On Friday, Jackson posted stunning images of herself from Thursday night's launch event wearing a bold and glamorous animal-print dress that radiated confidence and sophistication. The sleek, flowing design with a high slit added a fierce yet elegant touch, while the matching headscarf and gold jewellery completed the island-chic aesthetic.

In a post celebrating her look and the new Fenty Puma Cat Cleat sandals, Jackson expressed her excitement: "I’m feeling all types of black, beautiful, and blessed🤎 ☀️ The dress 😍 and these new Fenty Puma cat cleat sandals 🔥 got me feeling and looking like the true island gyal that I am.🫶🏾"

With the Fenty x Puma collaboration continuing to redefine fashion and sportswear, Jackson’s presence at the launch showcased the growing intersection between elite athletes and global fashion brands.

While Jackson is currently soaking in the Caribbean glamour, fans are also eager to see her back in action on the track. The reigning 200m world champion is set to defend her title and chase more history in 2025, and if her sharp and lean appearance at the Fenty event is any indication, she is ready for another dominant season.

For now, though, she is enjoying Barbados’ sun, style, and culture, living up to her title as a global sprint queen with island roots.
