Sarina Wiegman is set for talks over a new contract as England manager after sensationally leading the Lionesses to Women's Euro 2022 glory.
Former Netherlands coach Wiegman took charge of England just 11 months ago but inspired groundbreaking success at her first major tournament in the job.
England's women's side had never previously won a major title, while the last success for either of their senior teams saw the men win the 1966 World Cup.
Incredibly, Wiegman defended the European title she won with the Oranje, becoming the first coach to achieve this success with two different nations.
After a 2-1 final triumph against Germany in Sunday's Wembley final, she has won all 12 of her Women's Euros finals matches across the two roles.
Wiegman is under contract for another three years, in which time England will travel to Australia and New Zealand for the 2023 Women's World Cup before defending their title at the Women's Euro 2025.
But the Football Association (FA) is eager to further tie Wiegman down while she remains unbeaten in her 20 matches as manager. The Lionesses have won 18 of those, scoring 106 goals.
"She is incredible," said FA chief executive Mark Bullingham. "She was our number one target when we were going out to look for a manager, and she was just brilliant all through that process.
"We were delighted to secure her, even though, in our wildest dreams, we thought that this tournament might be too early.
"So, we weren't sure we'd win this one, we were hoping we would win one in the future, so she achieved brilliant results earlier than we could have ever hoped."
He added: "She only signed in September, but we would love her to be with us for a long time. I think she's a really special person and a really special talent."
Sue Campbell, the FA's director of women's football, said of Wiegman: "She'll have a couple of weeks off and then when she gets back we'll have a conversation. She's done an incredible job."
Campbell, quoted by ESPN, added: "When we interviewed her, we knew we were getting the best tactical and technical coach in the world; what we didn't know was that we were getting this exceptional human being.
"The first words she said to me when I walked to her on the pitch [on Sunday] was, 'What have we done?'. She really didn't know. There's a humility there and a passion for the game."
Inter Miami 1-0 D.C. United: Super-sub Campana seals late win
Inter Miami snatched a 1-0 win over D.C. United thanks to Leonardo Campana’s stoppage-time strike.
Campana had an instant impact after coming on in the 93rd minute as he volleyed in the winner just 25 seconds later.
Lionel Messi returned from a knee injury that kept him out against Orlando City but struggled to have his usual impact as Miami only managed eight shots.
Cristian Dajome had come closest to scoring for D.C. minutes after his introduction, but his dipping shot sailed over the bar.
Miami remain a point clear of FC Cincinnati at the top of the Eastern Conference, while D.C. sit ninth, a huge 14 points behind the league leaders.

Miami left it late to get back to winning ways but extended their unbeaten run to nine games. It is their longest run without defeat in the competition.
D.C. have now conceded eight goals in the last 15 minutes of the second half - only Montreal (10) and San Jose Earthquakes (10) have conceded more in that time in the MLS this season.
Montero to coach Juventus until end of the season
Paolo Montero will take charge of Serie A side Juventus for the remainder of the season following the dismissal of Massimiliano Allegri.
Juventus sacked their former head coach Allegri on Friday over his behaviour during and after this week's Coppa Italia final in which he was sent off, ending a long period of speculation over his future.
Montero, who coaches Juventus' Under-19s team, will take charge for their remaining two matches, at Bologna on Monday and against Monza at home on May 26.
The 52-year-old Uruguayan won four Serie A titles playing for Juventus as a defender from 1996 to 2005 and will take his first training session on Sunday.
"Paolo is a Juventus legend, firstly on the pitch, and someone who has long been a bearer of the club's DNA on the bench," Juve said in a statement.
"Best of luck, Paolo!"
Juve are assured of Champions League qualification but could still finish between third and fifth in Serie A this season.
Emery admits 'I have my dreams' with Villa after sealing Champions League qualification
Unai Emery has his sights set on winning the Premier League or Champions League with Aston Villa after securing a top-four finish earlier this week.
Fifth-place Tottenham's defeat to title-chasing Manchester City on Tuesday meant Villa will play in Europe's premier club competition next season for the first time in 41 years.
Emery's side conclude a memorable season – in which they also reached the Europa Conference League semi-finals – away at Crystal Palace on the final day.
And the Spaniard is already focused on achieving bigger and better things with Villa.
"It really was amazing when the [Tottenham-Manchester City] match finished," he smiled. "At the beginning of the season, it was really a dream. Of course, we worked hard to try to be there.
"I want to get better, and I have my dreams, and I believe in my dreams. Of course, my objectives are to win the Premier League or the Champions League. We are not contenders, but it is our dream to achieve something like that."
Meanwhile, Palace have enjoyed a strong finish to the season, winning five of their last six games.
The Eagles could seal a top-half finish with a victory – and other results going their way – and Oliver Glasner has urged his players to use that as inspiration at Selhurst Park.
"I'm pleased with the performances we've had," he said. "We want to win. We always focus on what we can influence. If we don't do our job, we don't win, we can't be 10th. It's good motivation at home to say thank you to the fans."

Crystal Palace – Jean-Philippe Mateta
Mateta has scored in each of his last six home Premier League appearances for Palace, netting eight goals along the way.
He is now aiming to become only the second Frenchman after Thierry Henry to find the net in seven successive Premier League appearances on home soil.
Aston Villa – Ollie Watkins
Watkins has recorded the most assists in the Premier League this season with 13.
Only Ashley Young has ever provided more during a single Premier League campaign for Villa (14 in 2007-08).
MATCH PREDICTION: DRAW
Palace are unbeaten on each of the previous 11 occasions they have finished a top-flight season with a home match (winning seven, drawing four).
By contrast, Villa have only won once in the 25 occasions they have finished a league campaign with an away game (drawn seven, lost 17).
That sole victory came against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2001-02.
On a brighter note, Villa are unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League away games in London, winning five of their six this term.
With 16 such points this season, a win or draw here would set a new Premier League record for the most achieved during a single campaign.
Although, you must go back to their title-winning season of 1980-81 for the last time they completed a league double over Palace.
