JTTA confirms participation in CRTTF Youth Championships in Barbados

The Jamaica Table Tennis Association (JTTA) has confirmed its participation in the 2025 Caribbean Regional Table Tennis Federation (CRTTF) Youth [U15 and U19] Championships to be held in St. Michael, Barbados from April 20-26, 2025.

Jamaica’s delegation will depart on April 19, 2025 and return on April 28, 2025. The upcoming championship is poised to be a significant achievement for Jamaica in both categories, as the expectation is to return home with numerous medals.

Success at these championships would also facilitate qualification for the 2025 Pan Am Youth Championship scheduled for later this year.

The delegation accompanying the players will include the head of delegation Ingrid Graham, head coaches Sandra Riettie and Dale Parham, assistant coaches Simon Tomlinson and Colin McNeish, physiotherapist Ackeem Clarke, and the parents of several players.

The JTTA also extended gratitude to its sponsors/donors without whom their participation in the aforementioned championship would not be possible.

Some of these sponsors include the Sports Development Foundation [SDF], Jamaica Olympic Association [JOA], Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport [MCGES], Institute of Sports [INSPORTS], Independence Park Limited [IPL], Western Sports Limited, Joan Duncan Foundation, Sterling Travel Service, Badminton Jamaica, Friends of Table Tennis and Parents of the Youth Team.

The championship promises to be an exhilarating one characterized by competitive spirit and camaraderie.

Under-15 Girls: Keeara Whyte, Kira Scott, Christina Royes and Mystique Sharpe.

Under-15 Boys: Anthony Bird, Ajani Spencer, Logan Royes and Gmarco Smith.

Under-19 Girls: Tsenaye Lewis, Olivia Peterkin, Karecia Peterkin and Kayan Denton.

Under-19 Boys: Brian Blake, Jayden Ebanks, Azizi Johnson and Joel Lamm.
