Jamaica Lawn Bowls has officially named its team for the 2025 World Bowls Indoor Championships, selecting seasoned players Robert Simpson and Maureen Caesar to represent the island on the global stage. The two-member team will compete in the Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, and the Mixed Pairs disciplines at the prestigious six-day event.

The championships, scheduled for April 20–25, 2025, will be hosted at the renowned Aberdeen Indoor Bowling Club in Aberdeen, Scotland. Simpson and Caesar will face off against top-tier opponents from around the globe as Jamaica joins 31 other nations in what is expected to be one of the most competitive fields in the event’s history.

World Bowls and the International Indoor Bowls Council (IIBC) have confirmed participation from across all five regions of the sport — Europe, Oceania, Asia, Africa, and the Americas — ensuring a diverse and high-calibre showdown between the world’s best indoor bowlers.

Jamaica’s participation also continues its growing presence on the international lawn bowls circuit. The federation expressed confidence in its duo, praising both athletes for their dedication and readiness to compete at the highest level.

The 2025 staging of the World Bowls Indoor Championships will also see the continuation of Jamaica’s partnership with apparel brand Kukri, who will once again provide competition gear and merchandise for the national team.

With Simpson and Caesar set to don the national colours in Scotland, Jamaica will be aiming to make a strong impression in a sport where experience, precision, and mental resilience are key.
