Reggae Boy Darren Mattocks facing felony charges in Pennyslvania

Reggae Boyz striker Darren Mattocks is in hot water as he is facing two felony charges in Pennsylvania, according to media reports from the United States.

The 29-year-old FC Cincinnati forward has been accused of making a false, fraudulent or incomplete insurance claim and theft by deception in Carroll Township, Pennsylvania.

Media reports say that according to court documents, the complaint against Mattocks was first filed on December 5, 2019, in which bail was set at $50,000. A formal arraignment is scheduled for February 27, 2020.

Mattocks was about to begin his second season at FC Cincinnati. Last season he scored three goals for the club in 21 appearances.

An eight-year veteran of Major League Soccer (MLS), Mattocks has played for the Vancouver Whitecaps, DC United and the Portland Timbers.

    Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury.

    Klopp said: "Best possible news. It's a knee injury, but no surgery is required.

    "He will not play this season, but I'm positive he will start the new season. He's a quick healer."

    Klopp also revealed Dejan Lovren is available for Saturday's clash with Burnley at Anfield, where Liverpool can move on to 95 points with a victory.

    The Croatia centre-back has been sidelined with a knock but could feature against the mid-table Clarets.

    Liverpool face Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United in their final three games after coming up against Sean Dyche's in-form side, who have won three and drawn one of their previous four.

    Salomon Kalou has joined Botafogo after leaving Hertha Berlin. 

    The Ivory Coast forward's contract with Bundesliga side Hertha expired at the end of last month, making him a free agent after a six-year spell in German football.

    Kalou has not had long to wait to find a new club, however, securing a move to Brazil after talks with Botafogo got under way last month. 

    There was no confirmation of the length of the contract the 34-year-old former Chelsea man has signed. 

    Ex-Japan playmaker Keisuke Honda will be among Kalou's new team-mates.

    Contracted at Valencia until 2021, Torres has been linked with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.

    - With Luka Jovic seemingly set for a Real Madrid exit, the interest is apparently growing in the forward. The Daily Star claims Leicester City have joined the race for the forward, who is said to be a target for Chelsea.

    - Back at San Siro and Inter have decided to put Matias Vecino on the transfer list, according to CalcioMercato. Vecino, 28, arrived at Inter from Fiorentina in 2017.
