Despite the promise he has shown, Windies batsman Sunil Ambris has not been given a new central contract even as Cricket West Indies (CWI) have increased the number offered in the new contract period. 

The West Indies selectors have rewarded Sunil Ambris and John Campbell for the good work they did during the Walton Tri-Series in Ireland which concluded on Friday. 

Windies middle-order batsman turned opener, Sunil Ambris, is filled with pride at becoming the first man from St Vincent and the Grenadines to score an international century after his heroics for the Windies saw the Caribbean side romping to a five-wicket victory against Ireland in the Walton Tri-Series in Malahide Cricket Ground in Dublin on Saturday. 

St Vincent and the Grenadines batsman Sunil Ambris has scored his maiden One Day International century for the Windies, getting to three figures in a Walton Tri-Series ODI game against Ireland.

The Barbados Pride are in a last-day fight for survival when their West Indies Championship game against the Windward Islands Volcanoes at Kensington Oval resumes on Day 4. 

Windies players, Sunil Ambris, Keemo Paul, Kemar Roach, and Raymon Reifer are the newest names on the Cricket West Indies’ list of players with central contracts. 

Returning Sunil Ambris cracked an unbeaten century to guide West Indies to 366 for seven and a draw against the Indian Board President's XI's on Sunday.

Opener Devon Smith is axed but Sunil Ambris has been included in a Windies 15-man squad to tour India starting September 26.
