Third-place finishes for TTO's Cedenio, Greaux in Padova

Trinidad and Tobago’s Machel Cedenio and Kyle Greaux had third-place finishes in the 400m and 200m, respectively at the XXXIII Meeting Citta' Di Padova in Italy on Tuesday.

Cedenio, who is aiming to be in sub-44 shape by the time the IAAF World Championships, clocked 45.57s in the 400m event won by Nigeria’s Emmanuele Bamidele in 44.78s.

Nigel Amos of Botswana placed second in 44.99.

Jamaica’s Nathon Allen was fourth but given the same time as Cedenio.

Greaux, meanwhile, was third in the half-lap sprint in 20.49.

Brazil’s Aldemir Gomez da Silva won in 20.25s while compatriot Jorge Vides was second in 20.47s.
