Layou, Hope International, Awesome FC, and Club Predators Secure Victories in SVG Premier League

The latest round of matches in the St Vincent and Grenadines Premier League delivered thrilling action and dramatic finishes as teams battled for crucial points.

Layou FC secured a 2-1 victory over Sion Hill FC in a tightly contested match. Joseph Douglas opened the scoring for Layou in the 44th minute before Keith Thomas doubled their advantage in the 58th minute. Sion Hill fought back, with Seaqueam Millington finding the net in the 60th minute, but they were unable to find an equalizer.

Hope International showcased their attacking prowess with an emphatic 4-2 win over Besco Pastures. Zadaan Thomas got things rolling with a goal in the 11th minute, while Tevin Thompson added to the tally with goals in the 42nd and 89th minutes. Zadaan Simmons also got on the scoresheet in first-half stoppage time (45+1'). Besco Pastures showed resilience, with Cordrey Theobalds pulling one back in the 51st minute and Jaymarie Black adding another in the 59th, but it wasn’t enough to deny Hope International a deserved win.

Awesome Football Club dominated Avenue United with a commanding 4-0 triumph. JeoVanny Enville opened the scoring in the 17th minute, and second-half goals from Kareem Williams (70'), Chad Strough (73'), and Kimron Davis (90+4') sealed an impressive win.

In another close encounter, North Leeward Club Predators edged SV United 2-1. Augustus Francois put Club Predators ahead in the 20th minute, but SV United responded through Terry Joseph’s 80th-minute strike. Just as the match seemed to be heading for a draw, Kirtney Franklyn struck in the 89th minute to give Club Predators a dramatic late victory.
